We attended Workshop
Female-led Climate Change Activism in Myanmar and Nepal at Chiang Mai.

In early December Professor Tamsin Bradley and her research team from AIT Thailand, SEGRI Myanmar and Gyanbodh Nepal met in Chiang Mai. The team was joined by nearly 30 Myanmar activists and online by members of the Nepalese women’s movement. The findings from the project compared different forms of female activism across the two contexts, concluding that climate activism needs to be better integrated alongside gender equality and end violence campaigns.

The gender lens in the mining works: case study of Kharidhunga mine of Dolakha which started a year back in February 2023 has been concluded with the validation brief at the Aahaldanda, Dolakha, today 7th Jan 2024.Gyanbodh team is happy with this collaboration. The final report is underway.
