Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Program was conducted today for the technical faculty members and other medical staff of Kathmandu Model Hospital Institute of Health Sciences (KMHIHS). The program was supported by the Quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training for Youth (QualiTY) Project.
Upon successful completion of the training, certificates were awarded to the participants by Gauri Pradhan Sir, Managing Director of Kathmandu Model Hospital Institute of Health Sciences. In his remarks, he congratulated the participants and emphasized the importance of BLS skills in ensuring timely and effective emergency response in various healthcare and community settings.
Gauri Pradhan Sir also extended his sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Udhya Koirala, Senior Consultant Surgeon, and his team members for conducting the training efficiently and sharing their valuable knowledge, skills, and expertise with the participants. He acknowledged that their dedication, professional guidance, and commitment greatly contributed to the success of the program.
The training concluded successfully, with participants expressing their appreciation for the practical learning experience and its relevance to their professional responsibilities.

The program was supported by Quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for Youth (QualiTY) Project. The training aimed to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in providing immediate life-saving assistance during medical emergencies.

Nepali Poem Competition was successfully organized on June 5, 2026, by the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Committee of Kathmandu Model Hospital Institute of Health Sciences – Academics with support from the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for Youth (QualiTY) Project.
The competition was organized with the objective of promoting creativity, literary expression, cultural appreciation, and inclusive participation among students.
