Today, our Bachelor of Optometry students had an enriching Hands-on Workshop on OCUVIQ Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) Lenses, facilitated by Kapil Gautam, Optometrist and Clinical Application Specialist from Drishti Ventures Pvt. Ltd.

The workshop covered the fundamentals of Orthokeratology, including its principles, indications, contraindications, lens insertion and removal techniques, as well as proper care and maintenance.

The highlight of the session was the practical hands-on fitting of Ortho-K lenses, where students gained valuable clinical skills and confidence in fitting these specialty lenses for myopia management.

A heartfelt thank you to Kapil Gautam - Clinical Application Specialist from Drishti Ventures Pvt. Ltd. for sharing his expertise and supporting the advancement of optometry education.

The 7th-semester BPH Group B students of Nobel College have successfully completed and presented their Comprehensive Field Practice at the local Palika level. This fieldwork bridged classroom learning with grassroots public health realities through community health diagnoses, local health facility assessments, and targeted health interventions.
