We are delighted to officially announce Team "MycoHimal" as the Winner of the Hult Prize On-Campus 2026 at IOE Thapathali Campus.

Team MycoHimal presented an innovative and sustainable solution — a compostable mycelium-based packaging material designed to replace thermocol. By harnessing the natural binding properties of mycelium, their product offers an eco-friendly alternative to conventional non-biodegradable packaging, contributing toward reducing environmental pollution and promoting sustainable practices.

Their idea stood out for its strong impact potential, feasibility, and commitment to environmental responsibility.

Team MycoHimal will now proudly represent IOE Thapathali Campus at the National Round of the Hult Prize Nepal.

We are proud to announce that the 1st Runner-Up of the Hult Prize On-Campus 2026 at IOE Thapathali Campus is Team Ecospool.

The team presented an innovative solution focused on producing 3D printing filament from waste plastic bottles, transforming plastic waste into a valuable and sustainable resource. Through this filament, they aim to manufacture practical and functional products, demonstrating a circular approach that promotes environmental responsibility and sustainable production.

We sincerely congratulate Team Ecospool for their impactful idea, technical effort, and commitment to addressing plastic waste through innovation.

We are pleased to formally announce that the 2nd Runner-Up of the Hult Prize On-Campus 2026 at IOE Thapathali Campus is Team Aero-Nox.

Team Aero-Nox introduced “Nyano Air”, a next-generation air filtration solution developed as an alternative to conventional HEPA filters, focusing on enhanced efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

The team members — Prajwol Bohora, Sanat Rai, Sujal Lama, and Pratik Karki — demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovative thinking, and a strong commitment to addressing real-world challenges through their impactful solution.

On 22nd January 2026, Sunday, we successfully hosted the Hult Prize On-Campus Finals 2026 at IOE Thapathali Campus. It was a day filled with energy, creativity, and meaningful conversations around innovation and impact.

The finalist teams — Aeronox, Better World, Ecospool, Heritage World, and Myco Himal — presented their ideas with confidence and clarity. Each team brought forward thoughtful solutions to real-world problems, reflecting dedication, hard work, and a genuine commitment to creating positive change.
We are sincerely grateful to our respected judges for their time, insights, and constructive feedback, which added great value to the experience for all participants. Their guidance helped make the competition both inspiring and educational.
A heartfelt appreciation also goes to our organizing team and every participant who contributed to making this event successful.
