Recent Modus Operandi of Hackers on Facebook : Make a Fake Profile of a Self Acclaimed Rich Men from some foriegn country like US and UK and Target women middle aged , and do social engg. to find out the status of the lady.. most of the targets are single Ladies, or recently divorced.Befriend them .. make a friendship by chatting good.. and after few days offer them to send Some Precious Gifts . Gifts told are highly precious and valuable. Soon the lady recieve a call from Custom Branch saying your parcel is recieved and also lady recieves an email with fake details of courier. The customs threaten to deposit DUTY else all the valuables sent by your friend will be SIEZED. They use dummy accounts to deposit that amount. Once the lady who is brain washed by the so called friend.. she does not want that his friends valuables shoud be siezed so she deposits DUTY to dummy Accounts willingly. SHE IS SCAMMED NOW....BEWARE OF SUCH SCAMS....

केटीको नाममा नक्कली फेसबुक "subashna gautam" बनाई बिक्रम ज्ञावालि र केविन के.सीले रोशन गुप्तासंग रकम असुली गरेको अनुसन्धानबाट खुल्न आएको छ । पिडित रोशन गुप्ता भारत घर भई हाल का.जि. महाबौद्धमा कपडा पसल संचालन गरी बस्दै आएको र पहिलो पटक निज रोशन गुप्तालाई बिक्रम ज्ञवाली र केविन के.सीले तिम्रो मायाले गर्दा हाम्रो बहिनीले हात काटी उपचारार्थ अस्पतालमा भर्ना भएकी छिन्, उनको उपचारको लागि रु. ५५,०००।- (पचपन्न हजार) रकम दिनु नदिएमा पुलिस केश गरि दिन्छौं भनि धाक धम्की देखाई रकम अशुली गरेको बुझिन आएको छ।
सो पश्चात पुन: निज ज्ञवाली र के.सी.ले पीडितको पसलमा गई हामी सुवास्ना गौतमको दाजु हो उपचारको लागि रकम दे नदिएमा जे पनि हुन सक्छ भनि पटक- पटक गरी पीडितबाट रु. ४,१७,०००।- (चार लाख सत्र हजार) अशुल गरेको । पिडितले भने बमोजिमको रकम उपलब्ध गराई सके पश्चात पनि निजहरुले थप दुई लाख रकम माग गरेको हुदां पिडितले महानगरीय प्रहरी अपराध महाशाखामा दिएको जाहेरीको आधारमा महाशाखाबाट खोजतलास गर्दा उक्त कार्यमा सलग्न ब्यक्तिहरुलाई मिति २०७२।०९।२८ गते का.जि. महाराजगंज स्थित भाटभटेनीबाट पक्राउ गरी बिद्युतिय कारोवार ऐन र ठगीमा कारवाहीको लागी मिति २०७२।०९।२९ गते महानगरीय प्रहरी परिसर काठमाण्डौमा पठाईएको ।
