Organised by the department of Computer and Electronics with the assistance of HECC and HRC, it'll be one of a kind.

We are excited to announce Himalaya IT CLUB ,Himalaya Robotics club and Himalaya Electronics and Computer Club is collaborating with Aws Cloud Club - TU Nepal to organize a two day workshop on 'AWS Cloud'. This hands-on event will be facilitated by Mr. Rajendra Acharya and Mr. Upendra Prasad Neupane, Cloud Club Captain, AWS Cloud Club-TU, and will be held on 17th June 2024 on zoom and 18th June 2024, 11:30 am onwards, at Himalaya College of Engineering.
In the First session, we will be introduced to Cloud Computing and AWS by Devops Engineer Rajendra Acharya. We will learn about the career opportunities in the cloud, navigate the AWS console, and learn how to deploy a website on AWS. There will also be a Q&A session where you can clear your doubts on AWS and cloud computing.

In the 2nd session, we will cover essential aspects of AWS infrastructure. This session will he conducted by Mr. Upendra Prasad Neupane:

Lab 1: Security in the Cloud
- Introduction to AWS IAM
- Creating IAM users, groups, and policies

Lab 2: Networking in the Cloud
- Understanding and creating VPCs and subnets
- Managing security groups and network ACLs

Lab 3: Storage in the Cloud
- Introduction to Amazon S3
- Creating and managing S3 buckets and objects
