-- Workshop on Alcohol and Substance Abuse--

On Friday, 2nd May 2026, the students of the third semester of the Master’s in Counselling Psychology program organized an insightful workshop on Alcohol and Substance Abuse, in collaboration with Margadarshan Rehab Center.

The session focused on understanding the psychological, social, and behavioral dimensions of substance use, along with approaches to prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions, case reflections, and practical learning guided by experienced professionals from the rehabilitation field.

Such collaborations bridge academic learning with real-world practice, helping our students develop deeper empathy, clinical insight, and professional competence in addressing substance-related challenges.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Margadarshan Rehab Center for their valuable partnership and contribution.
