Become a Young Change Maker! MUN is a conference similar to the United Nations in which students participate as delegates to various UN Committees.

Model United Nations (MUN) is an authentic simulation of the UN General Assembly, UN Security Council, or other multilateral body, which impels students into the world of diplomacy and negotiation. In MUN, students step into the shoes of ambassadors or delegates of UN member states to debate current issues on the Organization's vast agenda. Participants research and formulate political positions b

ased on the actual policies of the countries they represent. This interactive platform complements what is taught inside classrooms by enabling students to apply their knowledge in practice. EIMUN is the first MUN being organised in Nepal by Nepalese Students. This year we are simulating the following UN Councils, Committees
1) World Trade Organization
2) United Nations Security Council
3) United Nations Democracy Fund
4) United Nations Conference on Trade and Development

Students and Youths can participate as Delegates representing a Nation or even as Press members and representatives of INGOs like Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, IUCN, ICRC and etc.

“𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮”

A Virtual Cultural Exchange Program organized by EIMUN delegates and representatives of American Spaces from respective countries aimed to build mutual understanding and cultural appreciation between the communities, creating a lasting platform for American Corners in Nepal and Sri Lanka.

This idea, born during EIMUN 2024 in an informal conversation, as shared by the delegates, brought together participants from American Corner (Dhangadhi, Illam, Colombo, Jaffna, and Batticaloa) to foster mutual understanding and cultural appreciation.

Through engaging exchanges on cultural heritage, geography, literature of their communities and the impact of American Corners, we are extremely delighted to be a part of such collaborative initiatives led by our participants virtually across borders, transcending geographical barriers.
