Youth Votes for Change Nepali youth votes for change! Need of campaign
Voting rights is the fundamental to the democracy.

Youth votes for campaign is an initiative taken by Nepalese youth started during pre 2nd CA election in Nepal to inform Nepalese people about new bio metric voter registration process which was first time introduce by ECN, aware people about voting rights, as well as motivate people for people participation and educate people to vote correctly. It is also a platform to engage and discuss Nepal

ese youth about electoral process, people participation and advocate on voter right means of through social network. Through this movement Nepalese youth are also helping marginalized people to secure their voting right through activities like flash mob, disseminate IEC information related to election , awareness program in community and colleges. The most essential concept of voting right is to choose the leaders in free, fair environment on regular periodic election. The free, fair and regular election is the foundation for the democracy which provides an opportunity for the individual to elect one’s representative and to influence the political direction of the Nation. In Nepal, millions of people have protested, intimidate strike and went for armed violence to demand their right to express through ballot.Still Marginalized people are deprive from the voting right and youth are demotivate to exercise their voting right along with it Nepal frequently emanate up with debate and controversy on free and fair election so to ensure voting rights of every Nepalese citizen and to stop election draw backs collective youth activeness plays a vital role.

YI along with members of CSO coalition visited the Election Commission of Nepal to advocate for the inclusion of out-of-country and out-of-district voting in the upcoming March 5 elections. During the visit, the coalition submitted a memorandum to the Acting Chief Election Commissioner, outlining demands for expanded voting access along with practical alternatives and options for implementation.

आजदेखि मतदाता परिचयपत्र (Voter ID) बनाउन निर्वाचन कार्यालयमा जानुपर्ने आवश्यकता हटाइएको छ। अब राष्ट्रिय परिचयपत्र (NID) भएका व्यक्तिहरूले NID मार्फत अनलाइन नै Voter ID बनाउन सक्नेछन्। त्यसका लागि वेबसाइटमा गएर आफ्नो NID नम्बर र अन्य आवश्यक विवरण भरी Form Submit गर्नुपर्छ। Form Verify भएपछि तपाईंको मोबाइल नम्बर वा इमेलमा Voter ID नम्बर प्राप्त हुनेछ।
