Pre-sessional English Course is for those students who do not fulfill the above entry requirements of English Proficiency for all Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs at UWTSD.Students can apply for the Packaged Course such as MBA with Pre- Sessional English,BA ( Hons) Business Management with Presessional English, BSc(Hons) Cloud Computing etc.

Pre-Sessional English Courses are available only at Swansea Campus.After completion of Pre-sessional English Course,students can transfer to other Campuses to continue their Proposed Main Courses.

Note: To apply for the Packaged Course with Pre-sessional English, Applicants must have Min. UKVI IELTS 4.5. Other English Proficiency Scores such as IELTS Academic, PTE, TOEFL etc are not acceptable to apply for Pre-sessional English Course.So students who have low Score on IELTS Academic, PTE etc are encouraged to take UKVI IELTS since with Min 4.5 Score on UKVI IELTS, you can apply for your Proposed Course with Pre-sessional English.

Requirements: Min. 10+2/Equivalent or above with Min. 4.5 in UKVI IELTS. Only the UKVI IELTS score is accepted for Pre-sessional English Course.

Student Visa in UK falls on ‘Student Route’Category of Points-based System (PBS).You have to score 50 Points from CAS ( Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies),10 Points from English Proficiency Evidence and 10 Points from Maintenance Fund, thus altogether 70 Points to grant UK Visa for you.

You can do 2 years Post Study Work under Graduate Immigration Route (GIR) after completion of your Study,then you can further stay in UK again as Student or Skilled Worker under ‘Work Route’.ILR/PR application may also be possible in UK in the future.

UK Visa Success Rate is almost 100% nowadays for Nepalese Students.Postgraduate Applicants can also apply with dependent. Dependents are allowed to work full time in UK.

For Admission,you need UKVI IELTS or IELTS Academic at least 6.0 not less than 5.5 in each band or equivalent score of other UKVI approved English Tests.If you have IELTS score below this,you can apply with Pre-sessional English or Academic English course by passing the English Language Test (ELT)conducted by the UK Education Providers/Universities.UWTSD accepts application without IELTS for Post Graduate Programs if Applicants have studied in English Medium and submit the English Medium Letter from the College or Univerty graduated from.

Note: Some UK Universities are now accepting applications without IELTS.For IELTS waiver,you need at least 65 to 70 marks in English Subject of your 10+2 or equivalent Academic Transcript and you should submit the Verification Letters from your School/College/University verifying that you studied in English Medium or your degree/Course was taught in English.

Besides the above English Proficiency Requirements, you should have minimum Academic 45-50% or equivalent or above and Education Gap should be shorter as far as possible. If the education gap is longer,evidence should be provided how the gap was utilized.

The tuition fee is about £8,500 to £13,500 per year based on Merit-Scholarships/Bursaries for which you are eligible.The total initial cost is about NRs 13 to 18 lakhs including Documentation,Visa Application,6 months to 1 year tuition fee,NPR 2 lakhs travel expenses,Air Ticket etc.

2.Academic % should be min. 45% - 50% and Education Gap should be less or if you have long education gap, you have to submit the evidence how the gap was utilized and you have to state in the Statement of Purpose that how you again got inspired to continue your further education.

3.SAT/GRE/GMAT Score: Not mandatory for all Universities.SAT is required to get Admission and Scholarship for Undergraduate (Bachelor’s Degree ) Programs where as GMAT/GRE is required to get Admission and Scholarship/Assistantship in Post Graduate Programs.GMAT is for all Business/Mgt Programs whereas GRE is for all Mgt or Non-Management Programs

For Canada,following are the Admission Requirements:
1. English Requirements:You need IELTS at least 6.0 not less than 5.5 in each band to apply for Diploma Courses and IELTS 6.5 not less than 6.0 in each band for Bachelor’s Degree Programs.For Post Graduate Programs (Master's Degree, Master’s Degree with Research and Doctoral Programs),you need IELTS Min 6.5 to 7.0 not less than 6.0 in each.In addition to IELTS,Equivalent Score of TOEFL and PTE is also acceptable. For Nursing Programs,IELTS requirement is higher upto 7.0 in each band Besides IELTS/TOEFL, GRE/GMAT score may also required to apply for Post Graduate Programs.

2. Academic Requirements: Academic % or grade should be minimum 55% 60% or equivalent or Higher and Education Gap should not be more than 2 years for Undergraduate Programs. For Post Graduate Programs, Education Gap more than 2 years can be also accepted based on the evidence how the the gap was utilized.

Tuition for international students studying in Canada will depend on the type of program and where you choose to study. Bachelor’s degrees will vary from approx US$ 7,500 up to US$50,000 per year in tuition, while yearly tuition fees for Master’s degrees will cost between approx US$3,500 to US$45,000.International students on average have to pay Minimum about CAD $9,000 per year for an Undergraduate Degree and CAD $12-13,000 per year for a Post Graduate Degree. F) Study in Japan 🇯🇵

Application is ongoing for Jan and April 2024 intakes for Various Colleges and Universities at various cities.

For Japan,you need to study 3 months Japanese Language class at first and pass NAT 5. Then you can apply for about 1.5 to 2 years' Japanese Language Course ( Pre-College or College Preparatory Course) in Japan.Only after completing this course,you can join University or Vocational College or Graduate College for further studies.

There are 4 Intakes;January,April,July and October each year.You have to plan at least 8 months prior the intake to apply in Japan..

Now the last application is ongoing for Oct 2023 intake and admission is also open for Jan 2024 Intake.So please hurry up to join the Japanese Language Class and to start the application documentation.

The total cost is about 10 to 12 lakhs including 1 year tuition fee,3 to 6 months hostel fee,1.5 to 2 lakhs Pocket Money,Air Ticket etc.

You can pay the tuition fee only after Certificate of Eligibility(CoE) is issued by Japanese Immigration.

G) Study in New Zealand 🇬🇸

For New Zealand,following are the Admission Requirements:

1.You need IELTS at least 5.5 not less than 5.0 in each band to apply for Diploma Courses.For Higher Education,you need IELTS Min.6.0 not less than 5.5 in each band for Bachelor's Degree Programs and for Master's Degree Programs,you need IELTS Min 6.5 not less than 6.0 in each band.If you have IELTS below this,you can apply with English Course followed by the Main Course.In addition to IELTS,Equivalent Score of TOEFL and PTE is also acceptable.For Nursing Programs,IELTS requirement is higher upto 7.0 in each band

2.Academic % should be more than 50% and Education Gap should not be more than 2 years. If Academic % is below 50% and gap is more than 2 years,we still try to find the possibility for the application or otherwise we find other country options where visa can be assured.

Total Cost to fly to New Zealand is about 15 to 18 Lakhs (For Diploma Courses) and 18 to 20 Lakhs ( For Bachelor/Master Degree Programs) including 1 year tuition Fee,1500 USD Pocket Money,Air Ticket etc

H) Study in South Korea 🇰🇷

For South Korea,following are the Admission Requirements:

1.For Higher Education (Bachelor/Master’s Degree Programs:D-2 Programs), you need IELTS at least 5.0 or above.If you do not have IELTS,you can seat for ELT (English Language Test) conducted by the University itself.

2.For Korean Language Program (D-4 Program) Leading to Higher Education (D-2 Programs),you can apply without IELTS or English Language Test

3. Academic % should be more than 45% or equivalent grade or CGPA

4.Education gap upto maximum 4 to 5 years can be accepted,but an evidence how the gap was utilized is to be clearly shown.

The tuition fee of Higher Education (D-2 Programs) is about 6000 USD to 8000 USD per year for Higher Education.The total initial cost is about NRs 10 lakhs to 13 Lakhs including 1 year tuition fee,2.5 lakhs travel expenses,Air Ticket etc.

For Korean Language Program (D-4 Program),it costs about 6 to 7 lakhs including 1 year tuition Fee,Hostel Fee,Travel Expenses etc.
