We would like to give a huge congratulations to the most hard-working and enthusiastic and the very first Lady President of our club, Leo Susmita Bogati for being honoured for her best contributions from the very beginning to the Leo and Self Defense Trainings during and after her presidential period on the occasion of 1st Charter night and Induction-Installatin ceremony of Lions club of Nepal Self Defense, from the hand of honourable District Governer Lion Dr Sushila Malla Ma'am, whole DG Team of 2020-2021 Lionistic year and also Lions club of Nepal self defense team along with Karate 2nd Dan (Self defense Trainer) Ms. Sanju Maharjan.

Self defense was the main project during her presidential period to which she has never given up on.We Leo club of Kailash once again would like to congratulate our past President Leo Susmita Bogati and we wish all her success in upcoming days.We Kailash family are proud of having such personality and supporting hand behind us.

To mark the 16 Days of Activism, Leo club of Kathamandu Kailash along in partnership with Leo Club of Kathmandu Alka and Y-Peer Nepal is organizing an Art Competition with the support of Y-Peer ASIA Pacific Center , Bangkok. We are organizing the Art Competition in support to promote the UN75 Global Survey for United Nations Nepal

The competition details are as below

Theme : "SRGBV (School related gender-based violence) & Online Voilence"

Digital artworks will also be accepted.

The participants will have to fill the UN75 Global Survey to make their participation valid.

A very kind hearted and pure soul, Leo Anu Poudyal has always been serving mankind. She is the integral part of Leo Club of Kathmandu Kailash since 2015 who has served whole three years of her Leo Journey as Club Vice-President.

She is so compassionate and enthusiastic in everything she does. She is loving and caring in nature with of non judgemental values and beliefs.

Along with this, She is also a passionate and brave lady who was, is and will always be the role model to many youths.

Breast cancer is by far the most common cancer in women worldwide, both in the developed and developing countries but still many people are unaware on it.

So, with objective to raise awareness among people on breast cancer, its cause, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment and cure, Leo club of Kathmandu Alka and Leo club of Kathmandu Kailash successfully conducted "Webinar and Experience sharing session on Breast Cancer Awareness".

The program was facilitated by Dr. Roshani Ulak (Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon, Alka Hospital) where she presented on breast cancer, its causes, symptoms, diagnosis, prevention and cure. Breast cancer survivor and Social Activist Ms. Rejina Mulmi accompanied the session by sharing her cancer journey from first phase of diagnosis to living healthy and happy life now.

The session concluded by joining hands to continue our campaign towards increasing awareness among people in every corner of country. We would also like to thank our facilitators and participants for providing their valuable time and participating throughout webinar.
