A major solar flare occurred on the Sun. (satellite footage)

A solar flare of the highest magnitude X was detected for the second time in two weeks, the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported.

"The Sun has resumed high-level X-ray flares. Early this morning, at 5:49 Moscow time, a new X1.9 event was registered at the northeastern edge of the Sun after a two-week hiatus (since November 14)," the organization said on its Telegram channel .

This image is not a myth. It is a fact. What does it prove? That nothing is impossible. Science never creates myths, it transforms myths into science.

Please Note that earlier announced program is renamed due to some consent over name regarding host. Unfortunately, the name almost resembles with his own personal program " Last Week Kosmos with Raul".

New name and its tag line is posted on this photo.

We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks.

Announcement:
Royal Astronomical Space Research of Nepal Joins Forces with Astronomers Without Borders
Kathmandu, Nepal – October 30, 2025

In a landmark development for astronomical research and global collaboration, the Royal Astronomical Space Research of Nepal (RASRON) proudly announces its official affiliation with Astronomers Without Borders (AWB). This partnership unites Nepal's burgeoning space ambitions with AWB's mission of "One People, One Sky," fostering shared knowledge, resources, and outreach to inspire the next generation of stargazers and scientists worldwide.

RASRON, a visionary initiative dedicated to advancing astronomical and space research in the Himalayan kingdom, will leverage AWB's global network to enhance educational programs, telescope distribution, and joint observing events. Drawing from Nepal's unparalleled vantage point—home to the world's highest peaks and clearest night skies—this affiliation aims to bridge borders, promote STEM education, and contribute to international projects like Global Astronomy Month.

"We are thrilled to affiliate with Astronomers Without Borders, whose borderless spirit aligns perfectly with our goal of harnessing Nepal's cosmic heritage for humanity's shared exploration," said Professor Dr. Jayanta Acharya, Director of RASRON. "Together, we'll empower Nepalese youth and connect with astronomers everywhere under the same starry canopy."

Historical observation of extrasolar planet ❗️
You are probably mingling images of protoplanetary disks - sets of colorful rings intertwined with dark breaks (of course colors are a matter of contract 😉). For a long time, astronomers have suspected that young planets can be found in these intervals. It was almost a good idea. Exactly, almost - because so far no direct, unambiguous observation has been made 👀 But here it is! You're looking at WISPIT 2b, a protoplanet 5 times more massive than Jupiter, only ~5 million years and 437 light years from us. That's the blue dot to the right of the star and the inner light gas-dust ring. The second, an orange one, inside the ring is probably another planet, not yet confirmed. A weaker outer ring is also visible, shown more clearly on the artistic visualization "above the planet" 🙂 We owe observations to Clay - one of the Magellan Telescopes, located at the Las Campanas Observatory in Chile. Articles on WISPIT 2b published in The Astrophysical Journal Letters.

Surface of Mars, or backyard construction? 💤

The Planetary Nebula .. beautiful evidence of the end of life of relatively massive stars, but not massive enough to explode like supernovas 🙂 When the nuclear synthesis stops setting in the interior of a star, its outer layers are rejected and the core becomes a white dwarf. It looks especially impressive when the approaching star is in a binary system, because the interaction of its components can result in a fancy shape - and that's what we're dealing with in this capital image from the Webb Telescope 🤩 It shows the nebula NGC 1514, which lies about 1,500 light years from us the star of the Bull. At the center of the nachylon "cylinder", which only thanks to the JWST we can see so clearly, there is a tight double system - the stars orbit in an elliptical orbit with a period of 9 years. We owe the image to the medium infrared instrument (MIRI), although its beauty and chosen colors lead to NIRCam 😀 Information for curious people - three filters were used: 7.7 μm, 12 μm and 25 μm 🙂
