When we talk about the significance or meaning of biography,it consists mainly of the lives of the masters or holy beings, so in a cycle one finds at the beginning their activities of listening to the Dharma, reflecting on it and, for the sake of other beings, developing the qualities of accomplishment to their fullest extent. Finally, they pass into a state of Nirvana, or peace, which is to say that when they’ve manifested the full signs of accomplishment, the biography tells about the pure field into which the saint passed away.
