Our Story

KAASTHAMANDAP A LEVEL ACADEMY (KAA)

Located in Mandikhatar, Kaasthamandap A Level Academy is easily accessible. It is about 300 metres from the Ring Road at Dhumbarahi Chowk. The Academy is an extension of Kaasthamandap Vidhyalaya which was established in 2003 and is now a well established school with an excellent reputation for academic excellence.

WHAT KAA OFFERS
KAA offers the Cambridge International Advanced Level (A Level) Course, equivalent to +2 as per the Government's policy. It is an international benchmark qualification providing excellent preparation for university education. The student-centric approach of our college with highly qualified and experienced faculty, tailor-made services of guidance counseling, extra and co-curricular activities, supplemented by pertinent facilities and resources are aimed at enabling students realize their aspirations.

KAA seeks to provide students with a congenial and positive, yet challenging environment that will support their all-round development needs and inner awareness.This will lay the foundation that will eventually bring about in our graduates their best capabilities which will make them productive members of our society, country and eventually the world.

ADMISSION
Students completing the SLC or equivalent can apply for admission to follow the GCE A Level programme. Prospective students are welcome to get the admission forms from our office. Students who can fulfill the scholastic aptitude of this challenging programme are admitted upon passing the entrance test and an interview.

SCHOLARSHIP

The College offers merit based scholarship deserving students. Limited scholarship is also offered to candidates who demonstrate a need for financial aid.

GUIDANCE AND CAREER COUNSELING
Faculty members with extensive experience assist the school Guidance Counselor in guiding and supporting students throughout the A Level programme and university application process. We focus on recommending the right degrees and institutions, preparing applications with a balance of academics, extra and co-curricular activities for college/university placements.
Regular one-on-one sessions are conducted to moniter the academic progress and the overall well being of our students. Besides academic counseling , we also have provision of psychological counseling at the college.
