We think it will help to introduce Kenji Miyazawa all over the world. Objectives

We have strong belief that this school would provide balance, qualitative, scientific and practical education to develop the knowledge and skill of students. The school enables students to know the meaning of love, cooperation and help. The school enables students to understand the complexities of the world and find out the way to face them at the time of challenge. We hope the students of this school will know to be simple in life and to do great work in their life. It is the main spirit of Kenji's thought. Level-wise Education programs

Preparatory level

In preparatory Level, we provide pre school children from three years old up to those below primary school age, with an education which enables them to lead a healthy life that is both physically and mentally desirable for their ages, stressing a foundation of sentiments, creativity and independence. Preparatory Level provides education that consists of five categories; health, human relations, environment, language and expression. The students are divided into three grades based on their age and creativity. They are motivated to come to school by inspiring them to be creative. The school provides such an environment where the children do not feel hesitation, any types of complexities and unrecognizable situation. In this level, they learn by singing, dancing, playing and participating in different extra activities. Primary Level (classes- 1,2,3,4 and 5)

Primary Level education is offered on the basic concept of fostering the harmonious development of intellect and virtues to form a complete human and self-reliance, and love for works as well as noble qualities. Future Programs

Kenji International school is a primary school. In the future, we hope, after a good management of perfect physical facilities and fulfillment of other requirements, the school will propose for the permission of running secondary level. In the secondary level, we will try to establish it as a model school with subject of agriculture to respect the teacher of agriculture - Kenji Miyazawa. A library will be established for the memory of that great personality, and it will be "Kenji Memorial Library". It will be not only for the students of this school but it will be opened for all children. We think it helps them to know about Kenji Miyazawa. A fund will be managed to provide free education for those students who are from economically very poor families of remote areas of the country. Children from oppressed and ethnic groups will be in high priority to get that opportunity. The name of free study opportunity will be "Kenji Study Opportunity". The school will try to provide it as more as possible number of students. We will try to manage to run 'Student Exchange Program' for the students of grade four and five if any Japanese School or institution becomes ready to go ahead jointly. When the students cross the Primary Level, they will start to learn Japanese language. It is thinking that this subject [Japanese language] will help the students to know more about Japan and Miyazawa Kenji. It will also make our students interested to build close friendship with Japanese people. Uniform

We love you very much. Who is Miyazawa Kenji? The Hanamaki agrarian, scientist, poet and writer of juvenile stories, Miyazawa Kenji, holds a unique place in the history of Japanese literature with his versatile accomplishments. As a poet, one of his best known pieces, "Undaunted by rain, Undaunted by wind", which was written immediately before his death, testifies to his entire life of dedication to the nameless, poverty-stricken farmers in the northern Japanese mainland. As a writer juvenile stories, he made up a fantasia, where animals, plants and even stones had the same emotions as humans and enjoyed a mutual communication of souls. As a writer for children, he is very well known in Japan. The book of stories by Kenji "The Restaurant of Many Orders" is very famous among the Japanese children. As an agricultural chemist, he applied what he learned at Morioka Agriculture and Forestry College to the local fields, and paddies, helping and encouraging a host of farmers who were often helpless against the cruel elements. As a faithful Buddhist, he led an active life of self-sacrifice to realize an earthly paradise rather than confining himself to the esoteric study of scriptures in some distant monastery. Thus, out of the land of Iwate prefecture, he developed man ideal country of fantasy and universal blessing that he named " Ihatov", "Ihatov" is Miyazawa Kenji's Hanamaki. The respectable personality Miyazawa Kenji was born of on August 27, 1896 and passed away on September 21, 1933 at the age of 37. Now, the people of Japan remember and respect him as a person with extra ordinary talent. We will try to introduce him in the land of Gautam Buddha and from the land of Gautam Buddha.
