Central Department of Chemistry

Today, Central Department of Chemistry (CDC) celebrated its 61th annual day. The program was chaired by Head of Department Prof. Dr Vinay Kumar Jha and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Deepak Aryal was Chief guest.

Key highlights of CDC:
1) Master program in Chemistry started in 2022 BS
2) Around 3550 graduated with a Master degree
and 53 graduated with a PhD degree
4) In the past 5 years, more than 100 articles have been published in ranked journals/year (~3 articles/faculty/year)
5) Currently, CDC has 79 PhD students
6) We have 27 faculties (all PhDs)
