It is second densely populated after Indra chowk and second busiest commercial place after New road. Since it is central of the kathmandu it is one of the busiest road. It is surrounded by famous place like Dillibazaar from west and old Baneshor from east and new Baneshor, Anamnagar, Ghattekulo from south and Ratopul Gausala from north.According to last census it was found at around 500000 people
