LEAVES PLATES INNOVATION 20/07/2016

Our first demo video! Please everyone, give us a feedback, as everything will be highly appreciated!
"Leaves Plates: New Green-World Future for the Ecosystem" is an initiative to address the growing issue of climate change and environmental degradation. Initiated by Prakash Bajgain, who was in the top five finalist at the Clinton Global Initiative with this idea, the project is rather simple - we want to replace the widely used plastic and styrofoam plates which are permanently damaging our planet with plates made from leaves found in Nepal. We start with New York city, but we intend to fundamentally transform the globe.

Leave Plates: New Green world-Future for the ecosystem 15/05/2016

"Leaves Plates: New Green world- future for the ecosystem" is the initiative to address the problem of Climate/ environmental degradation. Our approach might not be the perfect solution towards the global pollution problem but it's obviously is a small step towards the better and healthier world of tomorrow. The pollution is increasing in such a large scale , it might be too late before we realize. So, our project focuses on utilizing the leaves of the tree to make a plate out of it and replace the widely used plastic and styrofoam plates . The leaves plates are biodegradable and pure natural product which leaves zero carbon footprint which makes it a beneficial eco-friendly initiative.

woodpecker's tounge....amazing!!!

The woodpecker’s tongue can extend to 2/3 of its entire body length. The only way it can fit in the woodpecker's head is by wrapping around its brain and eye sockets. The woodpecker can move its beak up to 16 times per second as it strikes a tree, creating an immense force of 1,000 G’s - 250 more times than astronauts are subjected to. Once it's broken through the tree bark, it uses its long tongue to seek out an insect meal inside.
