त्रिविका ६५२ विद्यार्थीको उत्तरपुस्तिका जले, पुन: परीक्षा हुने

गत भदौ २३ र २४ गते भएको जेनजीको आन्दोलनमा त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयका ६५२ विद्यार्थीको उत्तरपुस्तिका जलेको छ ।

परीक्षा नियन्त्रण कार्यालय बल्खुका अनुसार स्नातक तहको दोस्रो वर्षको आंशिक र मौका परीक्षाको उत्तरपुस्तिका जलेको हो ।

‘तीन वटा सेन्टरको जलेको छ,’ परीक्षा नियन्त्रक सूर्यकान्त कलौनीले भने, ‘उत्तरपुस्तका जलेका कारण पुन परीक्षाको सूचना निकाल्दै छौं ।’
उत्तरपुस्तिकाहरू प्रहरी चौकीमा राखिएको थियो । चौकी जलेसँगै उक्त पुस्तिकाहरू पनि जलेको हो ।

The recently introduced “Re-exam” policy by CTEVT has pushed the future of thousands of students into darkness. Denying hardworking students another opportunity even for minor errors or technical reasons is a completely unfair step.

This policy is destroying the careers of students, while on the other hand, due to the negligence and irresponsible behavior of CTEVT, students are suffering from mental, social, and financial pressures.

Why were the answer sheets not secured even after the completion of examinations? According to the exam schedule, most faculties of 2nd and 3rd year (such as Lab, Pharmacy, Engineering, HA) had already completed their exams. Yet, why were those question papers left in an unsafe condition instead of being stored in a secure place?

Despite CTEVT having its central office inside the valley itself, with sufficient human resources available, why could the exam papers not be collected and kept in a secure place the very same day?

Due to CTEVT’s negligence and arbitrary decisions, exam results are delayed, students produced by CTEVT cannot remain competitive in the market, CTEVT graduates are not becoming the first choice, and gradually the number of students is decreasing.
