The Grade 9 and 10 learners of Paragon Public School, representing the Student Council, took a meaningful step beyond the classroom by engaging in a dialogue with Hon. Sasmit Pokharel, Minister of Education and Sports.
Through a Gyapan Patra, our students expressed their worries and helpful recommendations on a variety of topics, such as student welfare, knowledge of va**ng and e-cigarettes, SEE evaluation, holistic education, ECA/CCA, counseling, digital literacy, and identifying abilities beyond GPA.
More significantly, they advocated for a safer, more equitable, inclusive, and forward-thinking educational system on behalf of a generation of students as well as for themselves.
We are truly grateful, Hon. Jwala Sangroula for helping to organize and facilitate this significant opportunity, and Sasmit Pokharel for listening to our youthful delegates.
At Paragon Public School, we think education is about creating young people who can ask questions, communicate, lead, listen, and participate responsibly, not just about passing tests.
Their voice matters. Their concerns matter. Their future matters.
