Here we have educators from GEMS school getting empowered by Master trainer from AKLTG Singapore. Growth Mindset workshop to grow as educators and then help learners to explore new ways to learn. Are you always told by your teachers and parents to focus? And you don’t know how ? Here are 3 ways you can take your mind away from distractions and stay focused. Until you know how to focus, you’ll never be able to think clearly, solve problems, make decisions, or remember things. ⠀

Being focused is important but staying on a task is becoming harder and harder. Distractions from any sources can draw you out of whatever you’re doing at a moment’s notice. Every time your mind wanders from your school work, you have to waste time and energy getting back on track. ⠀

Mindfulness trains your mind to identify thoughts that arise throughout your day. When it comes to distraction, understanding and noticing these moments can help you deal with them more quickly and increase your attention span.⠀

Sometimes the best way to have a productive morning is to get a head start on it the night before. Make it a habit!⠀

Planning in the evening before is effective because the thought of making too many decisions in the morning will slow you down and drain your brain for the rest of the day. If you can eliminate decision-making from your mornings, you'll have more energy and time to have the most productive morning you can!⠀

A good morning routine can really set the productivity tone for the rest of the day. Some days you can be into focusing into every detail like eating a big breakfast, experimenting with new hairstyles, trying to meditate and clear your mind before it even starts. ⠀

Before you look at the 2nd post on how to be more productive, remember this: Be kind to yourself and your mistakes. You can’t expect to be more productive overnight. Small adjustments can lead to more lasting changes and most importantly, these may take time and discipline. So be patient and stay focus through the rough patches and try again. Okay, now we’re ready to swipe to the next page.⠀

PUSH THE ACTION BUTTON!!! How we wish that life comes with buttons that can direct us into the actions that we want to take but tend to get too sluggish to start. Spoiler Alert: Nothing can happen until ACTIONS are taken. Be it studying, or even slacking for that matter. Want to learn a new song, learn the lyrics. Want to ace your exams, you need to revise. Want to have six-pack abs or a body size that can fit into any clothes, get out of your current position, put the phone down and get started!!!

Hello IAG Graduates,
We hope everyone is doing well despite the fact that the past few months have been very challenging. We wanted to check in with everyone so we are planning to do a casual meet-up with everyone via Zoom and we are calling it 'Guff Gaff with Ma'am Sue '. It's going to be a very casual session where we will chit chat about challenges and opportunities that ONLINE CLASSROOM has had to offer all of us and appreciation and feedback we would like to share with our educators . When and what time would be convenient for all of us. Please share your convenient time in the comment section below. See you soon. Till then take precaution to stay safe and take care. 😊 💻
