Over an intense 9-hour coding marathon, six finalist teams turned their ideas into impactful projects showcasing innovation, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving. From photo editing tools to service platforms and resource redistribution systems, the creativity was truly inspiring.

💡 With continuous guidance from our amazing mentors and support from the IT Club team, participants pushed through challenges and delivered impressive results within limited time.

The energy, focus, and dedication in the room reflected what CodeFest stands for building, learning, and innovating together.

🚀 Tech Talk – Episode 3 | A Step into the Future of UI/UX 🎨💻

The IT Club of Kantipur City College successfully organized Tech Talk – Episode 3 on “Future Trends in UI/UX” on Thursday, January 22, specially designed to guide fifth-semester students toward international remote work and freelancing opportunities.

The program was inaugurated by Mr. Raju Kattel, Principal of Kantipur City College, followed by inspiring remarks from Er. Ravi Khanal, Head of the Student Affairs Department, who emphasized the importance of practical, skill-based learning beyond academics.
A motivational address by Mr. Miken Shrestha, Cluster Management Coordinator, encouraged students to explore global career pathways and focus on continuous skill development.

The session featured Mr. Ashish Chapagain, Lead Designer & Co-founder of Big Brackets Pvt. Ltd., who shared valuable real-world experiences of working with international clients, remote projects, and building a design-focused business from Nepal 🇳🇵🌍.
The interactive talk-show-style session was smoothly hosted and moderated by Mr. Prashant Singh, Program Coordination Lead of the IT Club, ensuring enthusiastic student participation throughout.

✨ The event provided meaningful industry exposure and practical career guidance, inspiring students to pursue UI/UX design, freelancing, and entrepreneurship.

📊💻 Financial & Digital Literacy Program Successfully Conducted!

On Wednesday, January 14, the IT Club of Kantipur City College successfully organized a Financial & Digital Literacy Program for first-semester students, aimed at promoting responsible digital and financial practices.

The program was led by Mr. Miken Shrestha, Cluster Management Coordinator, and formally inaugurated by Er. Ravi Khanal, Head of the Student Affairs Department, who shared motivating insights on digital responsibility.

The session was expertly facilitated by Ms. Resha Dulal and Ms. Ayusha Parajuli from Smart Choice Technology, providing practical knowledge on digital safety and financial awareness through real-life examples.

The event was smoothly hosted by Mr. Mridul Prakash Shah and Ms. Sunena Shrestha, while the technical setup and management were handled by Mr. Parash Bacchar, Executive Member & Technical Lead of the IT Club.

✨ Students actively participated in discussions, gaining confidence in making informed and responsible digital and financial decisions.
