Our Grade 10 students had the wonderful opportunity to engage in an insightful and interactive session with Mr. Jhamak Bahadur Karki, a distinguished professional with 23 years of government service, 12 years of academic experience, and 10 years dedicated to medication and research. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. focused on Tigers, Mr. Karki shared his extensive knowledge and experiences on the topic “Wildlife Conservation in Nepal.”
The session provided students with a deeper understanding of Nepal’s rich biodiversity, the importance of preserving endangered species, and the collective responsibility required to protect our natural heritage. His practical insights, research experiences, and inspiring journey greatly motivated our young learners to think critically about environmental sustainability and conservation efforts.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Karki for his valuable time, inspiring interaction, and enlightening perspectives shared with our students.

“Learning happens everywhere, sometimes even in the middle of a splash”
Swimming Week 1 - Grade 2-3-4
Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.
Beyond fun, such activities help children grow physically, socially, and emotionally while creating beautiful childhood memories that last forever.

Proud moment for the KPKS family.
Our Grade 6 student, Prasiddha Sapkota, shines beautifully in this wonderful project — made even more special as most of the video was shot right here at Kathmandu Pragya Kunja School.
Seeing our own students step into the frame as performers, creators, and storytellers reminds us that schools are not just spaces for learning, but spaces where confidence, creativity, and expression come alive.
Happy to collaborate and even happier to watch our little performers shine with such joy and passion.

Middle school students traded classrooms for the pool, embracing a refreshing break filled with energy, laughter, and teamwork.
The water became a space of freedom where confidence grew with every dive and splash.
Beyond swimming, it was a moment of bonding, joy, and carefree expression.
Friends cheered each other on, creating memories that go beyond textbooks.
It was a day that reminded everyone that learning also happens in play, movement, and shared happiness together.

Season 2! Episode 1 !!
Of Wisdom Wednesday began not with a presentation,
but with a shared intention —
to keep learning alive within the walls that teach others to learn.
At KPKS,
faculty members gathered not as subject teachers,
but as seekers of deeper classrooms,
where growth is measured beyond marks,
and education stretches beyond textbooks.
Today’s session,
led by Head of Holistic Development, Kiran Mahat,
opened conversations on “Beyond Academics: Integrating Holistic Development into Everyday Teaching”
There were activities.
There were reflections.
There were moments that reminded us
that every interaction in a classroom shapes a child’s inner world.
An evening where movement, discussion, and insight
sat together in the same circle.
And perhaps that is what Wisdom Wednesday truly is —
teachers learning with teachers,
so students can experience learning that feels more human.
