Session on Artificial Intellegence in Business by Nirmal Thapa!!

Nirmal Thapa is Parakhi's Operations Manager. Parakhi works in close collaboration with its New York based office, Fusemachines. Fusemachines helps Insides Sales teams and Customer Service teams through the use of Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. When it comes to Parakhi, Nirmal is most proud of its dynamic company culture and growth of young talent. He is also proud to witness the growth of the technology company from its start in 2011. In February 2016, he visited Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) to speak on the technology entrepreneurship context in Nepal. Prior to Parakhi, Nirmal worked at MakerBot Industries, one of the world's first desktop 3D printing companies. He is the founder of Nepali Bytes, a platform that connects Nepalese writers to readers around the world. Nepali Bytes secured 2nd position at the 1st Startup Weekend Kathmandu event. Nirmal has an MBA in Marketing Management from Western Illinois University, US and study abroad experience from HES Amsterdam School of Business, The Netherlands. Basanta holds Masters in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University of India and has been in the IT sector for over ten years. As a leader at Libresoft IT Solutions, he oversees overall planning and ex*****on and training and support projects here.
In the past, Basanta has led OLE Nepal as a chief technical officer and Program Manager. He also led the development of Nepali localized Linux distribution, Nepalinux in PAN Localization Project. He contributed in included integrating nepali keyboard input system, coordination of localization of mozilla-firefox and gnome, system testing and testing of different applications for Nepalinux. Basanta is one of the founding members of Free/Open Source Software (FOSS) Nepal Community. He is FOSS enthusiast and has been involved in various FOSS activities like awareness building, migration and training. He is also a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).

He is Mr Surhid Amatya. He is a software Engineer( Android ) at Leapfrog Technology. He did Bachelors on Computer Engineer from Khwopa Engineering College.

At Leapfrog Technology, he has been working in different projects as per requirement basis. He has been involved in different in-house and outsourced projects. He worked on different outsourced app development and was responsible for developing android apps, testing and bug fixings. He has gained good knowledge in android. His android skills are Google Maps V2, Push Notifiction using GCM, parse.com, Rest API(file upload,download), Custom Animation, Material design, Localization, Social Media integration, Android location providers(GPS) and so on.
