The Artful Balance Connect Club partnered with Lalit Kaylan Kendra Basic School, to create a colorful mural on their campus.
Using art as their language, they connected with the community, shared cultures, and supported the school by providing resources to brighten their campus. The mural now stands as a symbol of collaboration, and the school has art supplies to keep exploring painting techniques and colour beyond this project.
Along the way, Lincoln students built meaningful friendships and learned more about Nepali culture, especially though the values woven into the design of the mural. The Artful Balance Connect Club is grateful for the creativity, connection, and community we shared.

Our Grade 12 Health students engaged in a powerful unit on staying safe online and understanding the legal consequences of digital behaviour. To investigate this, students stepped into a fictional courtroom examining accountability, influence, and digital wellbeing through a full mock-trial experience. Roles were randomly assigned, and students prepared arguments, testimonies, and evidence based on research and real-world legal principles. The jury was in the audience… and the final verdict was in their hands: guilty or not guilty!

Leadership Academy takes the stage! This year’s newly revamped Leadership Academy program has given our 11th and 12th grade students a deeper, more intentional space to develop their leadership skills. Today, they shared what they’ve learned, reflected on their personal growth, and offered thoughtful suggestions and hopes for the future. We’re excited to see how their voices continue to shape and strengthen this program in the years ahead.

Our high school artists teamed up with the Personal Wellness class for a mindful art collaboration. Students visited the school garden to observe natural textures and delicate details, then used charcoal to translate these moments into three large-scale murals now displayed outside the theatre. A beautiful reminder of how creativity, mindfulness, and nature connect!

Elementary students shone brightly at their Winter Music Showcase, Give Us Hope: Songs of Unity and Peace. They shared music from around the world in multiple languages, celebrating the many cultures that shape our community. It was a joyful event for students, families, and staff.
Our Secondary School Choir also demonstrated remarkable musical growth, confidently navigating complex rhythms and rich harmonies with maturity and skill. The High School band instrumentalists have equally excelled, some students even picked up their instruments for the first time this semester, and it has been amazing to see them achieve so much in such a short time. Their dedication and progress were truly inspiring to witness.
