The National Examination Board (NEB) has announced the SEE Supplementary (Grade Increment) Examination 2082 (2026 AD) for students who received a Non-Graded (NG) result, scheduled to run from Ashar 1, 2083 BS (mid-June 2026) to Ashar 9, 2083 BS. Exams will be held from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Ashar 1 (Mon): Compulsory English (1011)
Ashar 2 (Tue): Compulsory Nepali (1021)
Ashar 3 (Wed): Compulsory Mathematics (1031)
Ashar 4 (Thu): Compulsory Science (1041)
Ashar 5 (Fri): Compulsory Social Studies (1051)
Ashar 6 (Sat): Optional Subject I
Ashar 7 (Sun): Optional Subject

There are also concerns about unequal education quality across provinces and shortages of Math, Science, and English teachers in rural schools. New policies aim to improve public schools, digital learning, vocational education, and skill-based teaching.
