Spotlight on our college sector: Physics Practical: Vernier Calipers

Grade 11 at Heartland Academy

Our Grade 11 students at Heartland Academy actively participated in a hands-on Physics laboratory session on Vernier Calipers. The practical helped students develop skills in accurate measurement, determining the least count, identifying zero error, and taking readings of small objects. �

Our Grade 12 Biology students at Heartland Academy are actively engaged in a mouse dissection practical, gaining hands-on experience to deepen their understanding of mammalian anatomy and physiology.

This practical session helps students connect theoretical concepts with real-life biological structures, strengthening their observation, analytical, and laboratory skills. Guided by experienced teachers, students are conducting the activity with care, scientific curiosity, and adherence to laboratory safety and ethical practices.
