Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir established on 24th April 1993 is a non-profit organization that wishes to promote and materialize the ideology of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother in order to uplift life, to change it’s state into conditions of Divine perfection,Knowledge and Bliss in this Himalayan country. The Ashram is a shelter for all those who want to march towards a future of Knowledge, Peace and Uni

ty. A place of universal township where men and women can live in peace and progressive harmony above all creeds,all politics and all nationalities to realize human Unity. Although the start is small, but the goal of the Ashram is certainly Perfection. Now, Sri Aurobindo Yoga Mandir is an ideal home for more than 150 destitute children and 50 adults who get their basic needs fulfilled, learn life skills and learn the way to live harmonious, peaceful and efficient life on the path of spirituality and holistic living. Sri Aurobindo Yoga mandir is situated at the foothills of the Kathmandu valley. It is situated somewhat 7kms of the main part of the city. Lying on the lap of the Chandragiri hill (3000m) it harbors pure air, and peaceful surroundings from where the snow clad mountains and the green hills can be seen.
