The inquiry commission on the Gen Z protests submitted its report to Prime Minister Sushila Karki today!

After nearly 6 months of investigation, the commission led by former judge Gauri Bahadur Karki has recommended action against those responsible –

including former PM KP Sharma Oli, Chief District Officer Chhabi Lal Rijal, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Home Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadi, and IGP Chandrakuber Khapung – to proceed with criminal cases against them.

On Bhadra 23, 21 people lost their lives to police gunfire in New Baneshwor; a total of 76 sacrificed their lives – justice for martyrs like Buddhibahadur Tamang, Santosh Bik, Sulbhraj Shrestha, and others must now be ensured!
The commission also recommends prosecution for those involved in arson and looting on Bhadra 24.
