There is a great discrepancy between the number of research supervisors and the number of students who want to carry out research works in physical sciences in our country. Therefore a few individual researchers (in physical sciences) in our country teamed up with a genuine interest of providing a platform for earnest students wanting to pursue theoretical/experimental sciences through collaboration with various laboratories, observatories, and scientific organizations around the globe and formed NCRPS- Nepalese Center for Research in Physical Sciences.
In the past year, researchers in this group have worked exclusively in the field of space science and observational astronomy. However, in the next couple of months, various other project works and research supervisors will be available in the domain of material science, plasma physics, and high energy astrophysics.
