IVSA HICAST extends warm greetings for Holi 🎨🌸, the festival of colors 🌈, celebrating spring 🌿 and the triumph of good ✨. Traditionally, vibrant powders are used to symbolize joy and unity . Wishing everyone a joyous 🎉 and safe celebration!

We conducted an introductory session for our junior students, presenting the core values and initiatives of the International Veterinary Students’ Association. This orientation served to familiarize them with the global network and potential contributions within IVSA.

🌍🐾 This World Wildlife Day, let’s celebrate the incredible diversity of life on our planet. From the tiniest insects to the mightiest predators, every species plays a vital role in maintaining nature’s balance.

But wildlife is under threat—habitat loss, climate change, and poaching are pushing many species to the brink. It’s up to us to take action, raise awareness, and protect the natural world before it’s too late. 💚

Spaying, the removal of reproductive organ, significantly reduces risks of infections and cancers, and helps control pet overpopulation. As future veterinarians, we actively support accessible care for all animals.

Pangolins are the only mammal covered in scales, making them look like walking artichokes! As we observe World Pangolin Day, we wish for increased awareness and action to protect these unique ‘scaly anteaters’ from illegal trade.

Did you know that hippos, despite their size, are surprisingly agile in water and can hold their breath for up to five minutes? On this World Hippo Day, let us celebrate these fascinating creatures and wish them a future free from threats to their survival.

On this World Cancer Day, we stand together to raise awareness, honor the fighters, support the survivors, and remember the taken. Let’s inspire hope, promote early detection, and work towards a cancer-free future. 💜

What a powerful and inspiring day we had at Dhukuchhap Animal Sanctuary with Kathmandu Animal Save Movement!
We were so fortunate to witness firsthand the incredible work they do rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. From hearing the heartwarming stories of resilience and recovery to learning about the challenges of animal welfare in Nepal, it was a truly eye-opening experience.
We’re so grateful to Kathmandu Animal Save, Animal Nepal and the sanctuary staff for their dedication and passion, and to everyone who joined us for this meaningful visit. We hope to continue supporting their mission and encourage everyone to learn more about how they can make a difference.
