NMSS-NAIHS and NHC-NAIHS in collaboration with UNFPA Nepal Youth Advocate, Pratik Subedi donated 4 waste segregation dustbins, dustbins for each classroom and washroom of the school and soaps to tackle waste managament problem of one of the oldest schools of Kirtipur, Kirtipur Secondary School.

We also took a session on Menstrual Hygiene and Waste management to students of Grade 8 and 7 respectively.

Further, we would like to thank Rotaract Club of Kirtipur who helped us streamline the process by connecting us with the Interactors of the School.

All the interactors were again instructed on menstrual hygiene and waste management and were entrusted with the responsibility to teach their peers and fellow juniors about these topics.

On the occasion of 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, NMSS-NAIHS is organizing an online contest with the theme :

“Invest in Gender Equality, Empower Human Rights”

You can express your creativity through any of the following: Poster, Art, Poem, Essay, or Video!

Submissions should be made to the email: [email protected]

Deadline: 12 PM, 30 November

The submissions will be posted through our page.

Rules:
1) Like our official page:NMSS NAIHS

2) Share your featured post with hashtags:

3)Gain points through likes (1 like = 1 point) and shares (1 share = 3 points)

4) Make sure your shares are public; otherwise, they won't be counted.

5) Winners will be selected based on a combination of likes, shares (50%) and the decision of our organizing committee (50%).

There is a cash prize of Rs. 1000 and certificate for the first position, Rs 500 with certificate for the second position and Rs 500 for the third position . All the participants will also receive e-certificates.

"An enlightening orientation program from Nepal Medical Student Society Orientation Program! 🌟 President Dr. Naveen Gautam shared valuable insights on the incredible opportunities that come with IFMSA, and our National Officers gave dynamic presentations on the various Standing Committees within IFMSA.

We are so thankful to the Central EB of NMSS who were so encouraging and we are so happy to see how they have this great vision of empowering medical students across the country and transforming the medical education and the healthcare scene of our country.
