At the inaugural SYNERGIA International Research Conference, Ms. Pramila Parajuli, a PhD scholar and faculty member in the Department of Microbiology, and Mr. Shishir Kumar Bhusal, Head of the Department of Major Arts represented St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar, Kathmandu.
The event, held from May 6–8, 2026, was organized by St. Louis College in Philippines and cohosted by St. Xavier's College, Maitighar, Kathmandu.
Ms. Pramila Parajuli served as a plenary speaker, presenting on SDG practices and institutional engagements at SXC, while also contributing to the INTELLECT lecture series. Mr. Shishir Kumar Bhusal presented his research on implementing the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm (IPP) in higher education and delivered a lecture in the INTELLECT series.
Their participation emphasized the college’s commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship and global academic collaboration.

The Department of Counselling and Student Well-being and the Office of International Collaboration jointly organized an insightful session on "Managing Stress in College Life" for SQC-UDAAN executive members, departmental club leaders, and class representatives, alongside a concurrent session on "Work-Life Balance for Educators" for all faculty members of TU programs.
The sessions were led by the esteemed Dr. Gulnora Hundley, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Track Coordinator at the University of Central Florida, USA.
The interactive approach and global perspective offered by Dr. Hundley left both students and faculty feeling empowered and better equipped to navigate their responsibilities with balance and confidence.

St. Xavier's College Student's Quality Circle - UDAAN organized the Youth Summit 2026, featuring a talk session and workshop that brought students together under the theme "Resilient Youth, Sustainable Future."
Major General (Retired) Shantosh Ballave Poudyal, Ms. Renuka Bhandari (a Conservation Officer at NTNC - National Trust for Nature Conservation), Mr. Gobinda Prasad Pokharel (a Conservation Officer at NTNC), Mr. Deepesh Raj Sharma (CEEN Secretary), and Ms. Astha Bindu Malla (an environmentalist) served as guest speakers for the event.
The event was thoughtfully divided into two impactful sessions, featuring inspiring discussions and engaging workshops that empowered youth to reflect, connect, and take action toward a more sustainable and inclusive future.
