👉 SISSA supports Palestinian education and research
🎓 Following a unanimous resolution of its Academic Senate, SISSA has launched a set of measures in response to the humanitarian and political situation in the Palestinian territories, with particular attention to the Gaza Strip.

🤝 These measures include the allocation of resources to support Palestinian students and researchers, also within national and international initiatives, and a commitment to carefully assess scientific collaborations in order to avoid any involvement in activities that could contribute to offensive military technologies or human rights violations.

🌐 The Academic Senate has reiterated the central role of international scientific cooperation as a tool for peace and progress, and SISSA’s commitment to supporting efforts aimed at rebuilding the Palestinian education and research system, in the belief that education, knowledge and research are essential foundations for the future of every society.
