The Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN) successfully concluded the Document Verification for Insurance Professionals training programme, with participants receiving their certificates upon successful completion.

The programme focused on strengthening practical capabilities in document verification, authenticity assessment, risk control, fraud prevention, and sound decision-making.

We sincerely appreciate Mr. Pradip Raj Kandel, Resource Person, for sharing his valuable expertise and practical insights throughout the programme.

The "Administrative and Professional Writing Skills Enhancement Training'', held on "14th August 2026", provided an engaging platform to strengthen the practical writing skills essential for effective administrative and professional communication.

From structuring ideas clearly to preparing professional correspondence, reports, proposals, and official documents, the session focused on turning everyday writing into more clear, precise, and purposeful communication.

A sincere thank you to our Resource Person, Mr. Pradip Raj Kandel, for sharing his expertise and practical insights throughout the session.

Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN) successfully conducted the Advanced Reinsurance Broking Program: Strategic Risk Assessment, Underwriting Analytics, Technical Reinsurance Structuring & Claims Administration, bringing together professionals from reinsurance broking companies for a day of practical learning, discussion, and knowledge sharing.

The session focused on strengthening practical understanding of risk assessment, underwriting analytics, reinsurance structuring, claims administration, and professional broking practices relevant to Nepal’s evolving reinsurance market.

We sincerely thank Dr. Sujan Adhikari for sharing his valuable expertise, practical insights, and industry experience throughout the programme.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Insurance Institute of Nepal (IIN) and Skill Shikshya Pvt. Ltd. formalizes the collaboration on the "Foundations of Insurance: Core Skills for New Starters" program, an initiative built to prepare students for the realities of working in the insurance sector, not just the theory of it.

Many graduates enter the job market well-versed in academic concepts but with limited exposure to how the industry actually operates. This program addresses that gap directly, offering practical training, professional-skill development, and structured exposure to the sector, so that students transitioning from education to employment are genuinely ready for the work ahead.

The ceremony was presided over by Dr-Laxmi Kant Paudel, Chief Executive Officer, Insurance Institute of Nepal. The event was also attended by the following dignitaries: Mr. Bikesh Tandukar, Executive – Learning and Development, IIN; Mr. Ganesh Sharma, Executive – Admin and Operations / Company Secretary, IIN; Mr. Pranav Regmi, Organizational Relationship Manager, SkillShikshya Pvt. Ltd.; and Ms. Karisha Sijapati, Administrative Coordinator, SkillShikshya Pvt. Ltd.

Beyond the immediate program, this partnership reflects a broader commitment to industry–academia collaboration, one intended to improve graduate employability over time through ongoing opportunities for internships, placements, and sector-focused learning.
