Mr. Sagar Aryal ( PhD Scholar CDMi.) & his team have discovered a new bacteria & named it "Nocardia nepalensis" from Pokhara's soil, which is the first actinobacteria species identified from Nepalese soil. 👏

An aerobic, non-motile, Gram-positive novel actinobacterium strain ACa13097T was isolated from a soil sample collected from the forest of Pokhara, Nepal. Strain ACa13097T showed morphological and growth characteristics typical for the members of the genus Nocardia.
