🎉🎉We are excited to announce that the student application for the summer camp is finally open.

We’re looking for 60 gritty Nepali students (Grades 9-12 or in gap year) to tackle real environmental crises using technology and data.

The Essentials
- Cost: 0 (Fully Funded)
- Experience: None needed. We value grit to learn.
- Commitment: ~15 hrs/week (May – Sept)
- Format: Virtual learning + Physical showcase

The Journey
- Learn Environmental Science and Python (and/or JavaScript).
- Build a real-world tech project with a team of 10.
- Showcase your project to the public.

Fair Warning: It’s hard work, but had real learning, and real impact.

In 2024, Nepal recorded 5,125 wildfire incidents in a single half-year. Kathmandu's air is nine times more toxic than the WHO limit. Over 58,000 hectares of forest gone since 2001. These aren't abstract statistics, they are the world the students in this program are growing up in.

For 16 weeks, teams of 10 students and a mentor will build projects that speaks directly to these crises. They need mentors and co-mentor who can guide them; not just through the code, but through the thinking.

If you're pro-active, have leadership skills, and love to be part of innovative projects — this is your program. This is a fully funded program, with an opportunity for stipend.

What an inspiring graduation ceremony! We celebrated 20 students as they presented their WordPress projects, showcasing their creativity and technical skills. Huge thanks to Fleckor Tech and the ICT Club for their mentorship and support. The students worked online, learned together, and then came together in person to celebrate. We are so proud of each of them! Stay tuned as we finalize and announce the internship opportunity soon!

We’re excited to announce that our Web Development with WordPress Program (Code for Charity) is complete!

20 students from Grades 9 to 12 dove into web development using WordPress. From learning web fundamentals to collaborating on projects, these students worked hard. All sessions were recorded on YouTube, so anyone interested can revisit the lessons. Stay tuned—our graduation celebration is just around the corner!
