The man in his mid 60's trying to risk his life knowing that he won't be able to take much benefit from the work he is carrying on he is still doing the work by thinking of the upcoming generation. By knowing this whoever we are regardless of our miniscule identity in this vast energic world, shouldn't we give a little effort to the man's thinking as he is thinking for others regardless of himself.
How we are living in this world either with jealousy, hatred,enemeinism or love all this matters only when we are alive and vibrant but the scientists and environmentalists had predicted that by 2050 the most of the land in this world will be desertified and the production of food will decrease to a level where maximum population have to sleep without eating a day and night. Isn't it our responsibility to take a little effort and secure our's as well as our upcoming generations life from a severe food scarcity which is due to the desertification of our lands.
Soil is the prominent need to each and every living organism, without soil even imagining and thinking we can't able to survive that's what the importance of soil. Today maximum places in this world are suffering from desertification and drought, In general term we can say the soil is converting into sand that has lost the capability of producibility (the sand that can't produce food). In Nepal the condition of desertification and drought is increasing rapidly and we the nation are not equipped with enough desertification and drought monitoring applications.
Being a biomedical students we must know the body of ours is dominated by bacterias and other microorganisms. When we were child we played in soil through which we became adapted to microorganisms found in soil, the process of adaptation is well known to most of the us. Even knowing this(the importance of soil) how can we be so foolish that we are not taking a little step towards our own betterment.
Let's create the soil movement in Nepal not only we biomedical students and faculties but each and every student and faculty of this nation must take little effort towards their and their upcoming generations betterment. Let's join .
This event will make the government to take action and include the preservation and nurturation of soil in their election manifesto which will probably lead to soil protection in the nation.
