Strengthening Our Partnership with Government Schools!
Our continued collaboration with the government schools of Gauradaha Municipality began this session with a meaningful school visit by Prabha Ma’am, focused on building strong relationships with teachers and understanding the unique needs of each school.
The visit provided an opportunity to engage in need assessments, observe learning corners, classroom displays, and overall learning environments, while also celebrating the active participation of children in both classroom and group activities.
At Lawanya, we believe that lasting educational change happens through strong partnerships, continuous support, and shared commitment. We are proud to walk hand in hand with our government schools, supporting teachers and nurturing learning environments where every child can thrive.
A heartfelt thank you to the school leaders, teachers, and Gauradaha Municipality for their trust, collaboration, and dedication towards quality education for all.

Teacher’s Side of Story | Chitwan Branch ❤️
Every transformed learning space has a story behind it.
A story of teachers who stayed back after school to prepare materials.
A story of teachers who attended trainings, joined discussions, asked questions, and challenged themselves to learn something new.
A story of teachers who chose growth, even when it meant stepping out of their comfort zones.
As this year's new member schools of Chitwan Branch embarked on their CPS (Complete Preschool System) and CPRS (Complete Primary System) journey, the past month has been filled with learning, adaptation, and countless efforts made behind the scenes.
Classrooms have begun to change.
Walls have been thoughtfully divided.
Learning spaces have been reorganized.
Displays have been created.
New routines have been introduced.
But more importantly, teachers themselves have been transforming along the way.
They have invested their time, energy, creativity, and commitment into creating environments where children can learn with joy and purpose.
While the visible changes can be seen in the classrooms, the invisible efforts deserve recognition too, the extra hours spent preparing, the patience required to adapt, the mental focus needed to implement new practices, and the determination to keep moving forward despite challenges.
"Teacher’s Side of Story" is a tribute to the dedicated teachers of Chitwan Branch who are laying the foundation for meaningful change, one day and one classroom at a time.
Your work matters.
Your efforts are making a difference.
And even in this short period, your dedication is already shaping brighter learning experiences for countless children. ❤️🌸

A book is never just a book when it is created with a deep understanding of a child’s heart and mind. ❤️
Ankur Book Online Orientation Session, led by the writer herself and Lawanya’s PD, Ms. Puja Shah, was a beautiful reminder that early childhood education is not about filling pages, it is about nurturing curiosity, joy, and meaningful learning.
The session provided valuable insights into how the Ankur Book has been thoughtfully designed around child psychology, ensuring that every activity is engaging, developmentally appropriate, and enjoyable for children. More importantly, it reflects a philosophy we deeply believe in, that children learn best when they are actively involved, exploring, creating, and experiencing rather than being burdened with excessive written work.
By reducing unnecessary copy work, the Ankur Book creates more opportunities for teachers to do what matters most: connect with children, engage in meaningful interactions, facilitate hands-on learning, and build strong relationships that support holistic development.
A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Puja Shah for sharing the vision, research, and thought process behind the book. Sessions like these inspire us to move beyond traditional practices and embrace learning experiences that truly place the child at the center.

Republic Day symbolizes Nepal's commitment to democratic ideals, human rights, equality, and justice. It serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who fought tirelessly to establish a governance system that reflects the will of the people.
Beyond the celebrations, Republic Day offers an opportunity for Nepalese to reflect on the challenges ahead and renew their commitment to building a prosperous, inclusive, and vibrant nation. It symbolizes the resilience and determination of the Nepali people, who have overcome obstacles to shape their destiny and chart a new course for their beloved country.

Core Origins and Significance
The Ulterior Test: The holiday honors Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail (Ishmael), as a supreme act of obedience to God's command.
The Divine Ransom: Before the sacrifice took place, God intervened and provided a ram to be slaughtered in the boy's place.
Shared Abrahamic Roots: This narrative closely mirrors the biblical story of Abraham found in Judaism and Christianity, though Islamic tradition holds that Ismail was the son to be sacrificed rather than Isaac.
The Five Pillars: It marks the culmination of the annual Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which is the fifth pillar of Islam.

Teacher’s Side of Story | Purba Branch ❤️
Sometimes, the biggest transformations happen quietly, inside classrooms, within routines, and most importantly, within teachers themselves.
Only one month into the CPS (Complete Preschool System) and CPRS (Complete Primary System) journey for this year’s new member schools of Purba Branch, our teachers have already shown extraordinary dedication towards creating meaningful learning environments for children.
From rearranging classroom spaces and dividing walls,
to changing floor settings and adjusting daily routines…
from moving away from old teaching patterns to understanding completely new approaches, every step has required patience, learning, and courage.
Behind the scenes, teachers have been giving extra hours preparing displays and learning materials, attending sessions and meetings, planning activities, and continuously adapting themselves throughout the process.
This journey has asked for more than just effort.
It has demanded physical energy, emotional strength, mental focus, and the willingness to keep growing every single day.
Even though the journey has only just begun, the commitment and sincerity of our teachers can already be seen in every changing classroom and every joyful learning experience being created for children.
“Teacher’s Side of Story” is dedicated to every teacher of Purba Branch who is silently working hard to make transformation possible.
Thank you for embracing change with open hearts.
Thank you for choosing growth despite the challenges.
And thank you for giving your time, energy, and dedication to build a better learning environment for the children of tomorrow.

Another milestone achieved and what a day it was!
On 2083/02/10, Sunday, we came together for the Theme-Based Cluster Workshop on "All About Me" under the CPS Program First Year, and it was nothing short of inspiring!
A warm and heartfelt thank you to Adarsha Vidhya Asharam, Bhandara for being our gracious Host School! Your hospitality, warmth, and care truly made the day special! Despite the scorching heat, your effort to keep everyone comfortable with fans all around did not go unnoticed. Your willingness and happiness in taking on this role speaks volumes!
Nearly 50 participants from 8 dedicated schools gathered under one roof!
🔹 First Year Schools: Adarsha Vidhya Asharam, Ocean Academy & Lumbini School
🔹 Second Year & Phased Out Schools: Bhu. Pu. Sainik School, Peaceland Montessori, Bal Bikas School, Sunrise School & Iris School
We were also delighted to welcome the New Teachers from Phased Out Schools!
Our brilliant facilitators Ms. Sangita Khaling Rai ma’am, Priti Khanal Ma'am, & Shristi Adhikari Ma'am guided the session beautifully, covering the full cycle of the CPS Program, reviewing previous online workshops and accomplished tasks, motivation & team building, challenges & solutions, and exciting activities based on the focus of the month!
And the best part? The feedback said it all! 💬
Yes, there was a Red Zone as told by Lawanya but together, we crossed it successfully! Teachers and management shared how the group setting has transformed classrooms with children sitting in groups, belonging management, and impressive classroom handling even with a large number of children. The Group Merit Chart has proven to be a true game changer and the reflection is already visible in the children. That is the greatest reward of all!
"Thank you, Lawanya International and School Management, for the CPS Program. We are learning new teaching techniques and loving every bit of it!"
When teachers are empowered, classrooms come alive!
