आज भाद्र शुक्ल पञ्चमी अर्थात ऋषि पञ्चमि । हिन्दू महिलाहरुले सप्तर्षिको पुजा गरी यस पर्व मनाउँदैछन् । आजको दिन महिलाहरु नजिकैको नदी, तलाउ, खोला, धारा, पोखरी आदि जलाशयमा गएर ३ सय ६० वटा दतिवनले दाँत माझ्ने गर्छन् ।

रजस्वलाको समयमा छुइछाई भएको भए ऋषिपञ्चमीको दिन अरुन्धतीसहित सप्तर्षिको पूजा गर्नाले त्यसबाट मुक्ति पाइने धार्मिक विश्वास छ । सुयोग्य र गुणसम्पन्न सन्तान प्राप्तिका लागि पनि ऋषिपञ्चमीको व्रत एवम् पूजा आवश्यक भएको धर्मशास्त्रविद्को भनाई छ । ऋषि पञ्चमिको शुमकामना ।
