NeLSA Nepal Law Campus Chapter

Warm Greetings Everyone!
It is our tremendous pleasure to notify you that NeLSA, Nepal Law Campus Chapter has successfully organized the second edition of Moot Court Competition, 2019 on May 01, 2019.
The competition consisted a total of 22 teams with each team containing three members (2 Oralists and 1 Researcher). The preliminary round took place in 6 courtrooms. The participants pleaded on behalf of Applicant and Respondent simultaneously. The four teams to have successfully scored highest marks combined of both Memorials and Oral rounds reached to the Semi-finals. The semi-finals then took place in two Courtrooms on a knockout basis.
The two teams to make it to Finals were:
1. Team 18 [Roshan Nepal, Sagar Poudel and Sankalpa Parajuli]
2. Team 22 [Nishu KC, Prakriti Niroula and Aruna Bhandari].
The judges for the final round were Senior Advocate and Professor Purnaman Shakya, Hon’ Judge Shri Krishna Bhattarai and Senior Advocate Shushma Baskota Baral. The chief guest for the Event was Judge of Patan High Court, Hon’ Judge Tek Narayan Kunwar.

नेल्सा नेपाल ल क्याम्पस कार्यसमितिले आयोजना गर्न लागेको 'दोस्रो नेल्सा अभ्यास अदालत प्रतियोगिता' २०७६ को बहस चरण भोलि वैशाख १८ गते मे दिवसका दिन बिहान ८ बजेदेखि साँझ छ बजे सम्म हुने भएको छ। सम्पूर्ण सहभागी र स्वयंसेवक मित्रहरु बिहान ठीक ७:३० बजे सम्म उपस्थित भइसक्नुपर्ने छ। सहभागीहरुले बहस गर्दा बहसका नियम तथा कार्यविधिको पूर्ण रुपमा पालना गर्नुपर्नेछ।

साथै नेल्सा, नेपाल ल क्याम्पस कार्यसमितिका सबै साथीहरु सम्पूर्ण सहभागी मित्रहरुलाई शुभकामना व्यक्त गर्न चाहन्छौँ।

अब पर्सि हुने कार्यक्रमका लागि नियमहरु तथा मूल्याङ्कन कागज तयार भइसकेको छ। ती कागजहरु यसै सूचना साथ संलग्न गरिएको छ।

यही वैशाख १५ गतेलाई तोकिएको रिट निवेदन तथा लिखित जवाफ बुझाउने म्याद एकदिनले बढाउने निर्णय भएको जानकारी गराउँदछौँ। यही वैशाख १६ गते सोमबार दिउसो ४ बजे भित्र रिट निवेदन तथा लिखित जवाफ बुझाउनहोला।

Dear Participants,
We hope that your preparation for the upcoming Moot is going in full swing.
We hereby notify you that the submission deadline for the Written Submissions is April 28 on Sunday. Participants are required to submit the Written Submissions along with Registration Fee (Rs 450) to any of the NeLSA, Nepal Law Campus members until 3 pm at the B.A.LL.B. 4th year Classroom (Sec B).
Any Written Submissions submitted after 3 pm will receive a deduction of 5-10 marks.

नेल्सा अभ्यास अदालत प्रतियोगिताका लागि अाजको मिति सम्म समूह दर्ता गर्ने समय दिइएकोमा अझै पनि अत्यधिक विद्यार्थीहरुले दर्ता गर्ने क्रम जारी रहेको र कतिपय विद्यार्थीहरुले म्याद बढाइदिन अनुरोध गरेको हुँदा भोलि सम्मको लागि म्याद थपिएको व्यहोरा सम्बन्धित सबैलाई जानकारी गराउदछौँ।

This is to notify you all that NeLSA Nepal Law Campus Chapter is going to organize an Orientation for नेल्सा नेपाल ल क्याम्पस अभ्यास अदालत प्रतियोगिता.
The orientation is held to make the participants aware about various etiquette, intricacies, and technicalities of Mooting. The basic concept of Writ and its types shall be discussed. Further, the orientation will help students on how to prepare Written Submissions and provide with the tips for the Oral rounds.
The orientation is ought to be interactive and hence will be extremely helpful for the said Competition.
