We were delighted to welcome Miss Mary Hoeft to Sirjansheel Paila this Fulpati! ❤️

After Tika, our center was affected by the recent flood, but with Mary Ma’am’s visit and support, we found new strength. Together, we went door to door to check on the children and learn about their home conditions. 🏠💧

Mary Ma’am also supported our extended class, conducted an English conversation session, and helped us create a new class schedule. Thanks to her guidance and encouragement, our classes are now running smoothly and joyfully once again. 📚✨

We are deeply grateful for her continued care and contribution to our children’s growth and learning. 🙏💖

At Sirjansheel Paila, our kids enjoyed a session on studying the surrounding environment—understanding its effects on our Earth and how they can take small steps to keep it safe.

A heartfelt thanks to Lipika, our Indian volunteer studying in Taiwan, for guiding our little learners! 💚✨

🌸 Creative Learning with HAWA Volunteers 🌸

Today our kids enjoyed a special class with the HAWA volunteers! They learned to make paper collage flowers and also discovered the emotions linked with each flower. 🌼💐

The session ended with a beautiful message: “Just like you created a lovely flower with care, you can also grow to be good and kind human beings.” 💖

A big thank you to our HAWA friends for this wonderful experience! 🙏✨

We are delighted to welcome the HAWA group from Japan, who have begun volunteering at Sirjansheel Paila. Three of their members will be taking turns to share their time, skills, and kindness with us for a month. We sincerely thank them for their support, which is already proving to be a great help to our students. "

Sirjansheel Paila's students recently participated in an important awareness session on Good Touch and Bad Touch, organized by a cub club established by Lions Club Kathmandu Happiness. The session aimed to educate children about personal safety in a simple and age-appropriate way. We are grateful to the Lions Club and the cub club for helping empower our students with the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves.

Yesterday at Sirjansheel Paila, Resource Person Rachana Thapa taught the kids how to brush their teeth the right way! Special thanks to Takashi Hashigawa for sponsoring the toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Buddha Jayanti at Sirjansheel Paila
Yesterday, our children celebrated Buddha Jayanti with peaceful meditation and energizing exercises. A simple yet meaningful way to honor Buddha’s teachings of calmness and kindness. We would like to thank Miss Sapana Pokharel for taking the class and guiding our children through this special experience. 🙏
