The second motion for 'Power to the Voices' is 'राजनीतिमा शैक्षिक योग्यता'.

राजनीति भनेको राज्यका सम्पूर्ण नीतिहरू(शिक्षा, अर्थ, वाणिज्य, विदेश आदि) को मूल नीति हो। राजनीतिलाई नै पेसा वा काम बनाउने मानिसलाई राजनीतिकर्मी भनिन्छ।

पछिल्लो समय राजनीतिकर्मीहरुको शैक्षिक योग्यता बहसको विषय बनेको छ। कतिपयको विचारमा उचित शैक्षिक योग्यता नहुँदा राष्ट्रले भोगिरहेका असंख्य जटिल समस्या बुझ्न र त्यसको समाधान खोज्न राजनीतिकर्मीहरुलाई गाह्रो हुन्छ। अर्कोतर्फ, राजनीतिकर्मीहरु स्नातक हुनुभन्दा पनि शिक्षित हुनु आवश्यक छ भनी केही व्यक्तिहरू सोच्छन्।

The first motion of 'Power to the Voices' is 'BEAUTY PAGEANTS: Purposeful or Painful.'

A beauty pageant or beauty contest is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions.

However, beauty pageants have been subjected to fierce debate. While the contests give a direct ticket for success, fame and recognition, they are seen as a tool of patriarchy and objectification, reinforcing stereotypical standards of beauty. Therefore, the arguments surrounding beauty pageants represent both sides of the same coin, resulting in a myriad of opinions being thrown in from all around.

Global Debate Club is back with a debating event 'Power to the Voices' for SEE graduates and grade 11 graduates. This event takes a bilingual approach with an Old School Debating format where participants will be divided into for and against. There will be two amazing topics to debate for.

- राजनीतिमा शैक्षिक योग्यता

This will be a great opportunity for SEE graduates to win upto 30k scholarship at Global College of Management and Global School of Science.
