This marks a significant improvement from last year’s position in the 521–540 band in Asia and 148th in South Asia — a testament to our collective commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and innovation.

We Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE) is delighted to share the great news that our B. Tech Mechanical Engineering program has been fully accredited by NBA for a period of 6 years. This is the first program getting full accreditation of 6 years in two consecutive cycles. Hearty congratulations to everyone, especially the faculty, staffs and students of Mechanical Engineering, for this excellent achievement!

In the Mental Health and Wellbeing (MHW) Rankings 2025, KARE is elated to share that our university has been ranked in the Platinum+ band. This is an impressive improvement from the Platinum band last year and we are one among the 8 institutions in the country to be in the Platinum+ band.
