Great news for Bachelor in Pharmacy students studying in IOM,MMC.
FSU MMC-CDPH came with one more work that we had promised during our last election campaign.FSU MMC-CDPH 2079 is always for the students.
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of well furnished all the labs set up at Department of Pharmacy in New Academic Building.
As promised during election of last FSU, We FSU team are glad to announce that, Althogether 11 rooms are allocated for Department of Pharmacy including;
5 Lab rooms
4 Class rooms
1 Faculty room
1 HOD room

We are delighted to announce that all the gym equipment successfully reached the gymnasiums. The installation of these equipment is going on and will be completed in few days. All the students of MCC and CDPH can join gym in upcoming days and enjoy it.
Gym hall is at the end of multiplex.

स्वतन्त्र विद्यार्थी युनियन-२०७९ कार्यसमितिको कार्यकालमा महाराजगन्ज मेडिकल क्यामपस तथा जनस्वास्थ्य केन्द्रिय बिभागसङ निम्न लिखित कार्यहरुमा सहकार्य गरेका छौँ ।

१) पूर्वाधार विकास

-पुस्तकालयमा ३०००+ सबै संकायका पुस्तकको व्यवस्था ,
- BDS कार्यक्रममा डेन्टल कुर्सीहरू एवं अन्य श्रोत र सामग्रीहरुको व्यवस्था,
- हाम्रो क्याम्पस UGC Accredition को निम्ति सहकार्य
- नयाँ क्याम्पस भवन सञ्चालनमा ल्याइएको
- खेलकुद र मल्टिप्लेक्सको स्तरोन्नति र लाइट जडान गरेको
- Ragging फ्रि जोन घोषणा गरेर ब्यहवारमा ल्याइएको
- बर्षा याममा अस्पताल तथा क्याम्पसमा जहिले पानी जमिरहने हुदा उक्त कार्यको निम्ति ढल व्यवस्थापनको टेन्डर खुलिसकेको
- रेजिडेन्ट होस्टेल - ट्रस्ट र टीटी बोर्ड जडान
- PG residents का निम्ति अत्याधिक duty hours हुदा GI सर्जरी, Urosurgery को श्रम समयको समायोजन,
-PG र UG होस्टेलको रङ्गरोगन
- Duty room, इमर्जेन्सी लगायतका ठाउँमा FSU मार्फत तातो र चिसो पानीका निम्ति डिस्पेन्सेर जडान गरेको
- UG तथा PG छात्रावासमा पार्किङको व्यवस्था
-पुरानो पुस्तकालयमा हालको बढ्दो विद्यार्थी भर्नाका कारण ठाउँ नपुग्ने हुदा नयाँ basic science भवनमा नयाँ पुस्तकालयको निर्माणका काम अगाडि बढेको

२) शैक्षिक सुधार

- Barrier मा परेका विद्यार्थीहरूको स्थायी समाधानका निम्ति नीतिगत सुधारका निम्ति प्रयत्न गरिएको तथा परिक्षा प्रणालीमा सुधार ल्याइएको
- CDPH ले लिँदै गरेको अनैतिक भर्ना शुल्क ८,००० बाट ५,००० मा झरेको
- White Coat र Oath Taking समारोह IOM इतिहासमा सुरुवात गरिएको
- अनुसन्धान थेसिस गर्ने विद्यार्थीहरूलाई क्याम्पसबाट अनुदान दिने निर्णय गरेको
- एमबीबीएस/बीडीएस/प्यारामेडिक्स लगायतका विषयमा ३ वर्ष किस्तामा तिर्नुपर्ने सम्पूर्ण शुल्क ४ वर्षमा तिर्ने बनाइएको
- शनिबार र बिदाको दिन बन्द हुने गरेको पुस्तकालय पुनः खोलाइएको
- फार्मेसी विषयका विद्यार्थीका निम्ति नयाँ शैक्षिक भवनमा नयाँ प्रयोगशालाको निर्माणको चरणमा रहेको
- नयाँ शैक्षिक भवनमा सम्पूर्ण संकायका पठनपाठन ब्यवस्थित गरिएको

३) स्वास्थ्य सेवा र सामाजिक कार्य

- डाक्टरका लागि सुरक्षित कार्यस्थलको निम्ति आन्दोलनको नेतृत्व गरी डाक्टर पिट्नेलाई कडा नियम बनाउन र मुद्दा चलाउन नियम बनाउन सरकार समक्ष निर्णयमा अग्रपंक्तिमा सहभागी भएको
- प्राइभेट रेजिडेन्टलाई सरकारी सरह तलबको आन्दोलनको नेतृत्व
- महोत्तरीमा आगो लाग्दा स्वास्थ्य शिविर लगिएको, जाजरकोटमा भूकम्प जाँदा स्वास्थ्य शिविर लगिएको, नुवाकोट ,रामेछापमा स्वस्थ्य शिविर
- स्कूल हेल्थ प्रोग्राम, पाठेघरको क्यान्सर जनचेतना कार्यक्रम
- महिला शौचालयमा नि:शुल्क सेनिटरी प्याड भेन्डिङ मेशिन,नयाँ शैक्षिक भवनमा "Female Changing Room"
- जाजरकोटमा न्यानो टोपी अभियान

४) आवास र सुविधा

-IT भवनलाई छात्रावास बनाउने गरी स्ववियुले डिन अफिस संग निर्णय गरिसकेको,
- होस्टेल मेन्टेनेन्स,होस्टल परिसर भित्र ढलानका कार्य,
- होस्टेल र पुस्तकालयमा निःशुल्क फाइबर नेट
- विदेशी होस्टेलमा स्थाइरुपमा निशुल्क पिउने पानीको मेसिन जडान गरिएको
-गर्मीयाममा नियमित रुपले लाम्खुट्टे न्यूनीकरण गर्न स्प्रे गर्ने गरेको

५) क्रियाकलाप र प्रतियोगिताहरू

- नियमित रूपमा FSU Premier League को सञ्चालन गरेको
- वादविवाद प्रतियोगिता
- नयाँ टिटि बोर्ड भित्र्याइएको र टेबल टेनिस च्याम्पियनशिप गराइको
- FSUले देशभरका विभिन्न कलेजको हाजिरिजवाफ र खेलकुदमा सहभागी गराएर हाम्रा विद्यार्थी जितेर आउन सफल भएका छन।
- कृष्ण जन्माष्टमीमा आर्ट प्रतियोगिता गराइको
- चेस प्रतियोगिता
- साहित्यिक साँझ आयोजना गरिएको
- हरेक वर्ष स्वागत र बिदाई कार्यक्रम नियमित रूपमा गरिएको
- VC कपमा हाम्रो क्याम्पसलाई प्रतिनिधित्व गराइएको
- तीज स्पेशल प्रोग्राम सुरुवात गरेको
- FSU समर फेस्ट आयोजन गरेको
- स्ववियु द्वारा रमजानको अवसरमा इफ्तार कार्यक्रमको थालनी
- जिम को सामग्री आउन थालिसकेको र केही समयपछि Full Fledge मा सञ्चालनमा आउने
-फार्मेसी ,डेन्टल लगायत संकायका रास्ट्रय Society द्वारा आयोजित प्रतियोगितामा यस संस्थानका उक्त संकायका विद्यार्थीलाई सहभागी गराइएको!

स्वतन्त्र विद्यार्थीद्वारा दुई बर्ष कार्यकालमा यस बाहेक पनि अरु धेरै कार्य भएको यहाँहरुलाइ जानकारी गराउद्छौ। यहाँहरुले यस दुई बर्षको कार्यकालमा दिनुभएका साथ सहयोगका निम्ति धेरै अभारी छौँ । माथी उल्लेखित कार्य बाहेक हामिले वाचा गरेका केही कार्यहरु हुने प्रक्रियामा भएकोले धैर्य गर्न हुन सम्पुर्णमा अनुरोध गर्दछौं ।

The Free Student Union recently held discussions with the Dean, Campus Chief, and Hospital Director regarding the urgent need to address the ongoing hostel shortage. As part of our short-term plan, we proposed the conversion of available buildings and spaces into hostels to accommodate students more effectively.

During these meetings, we focused on repurposing key structures, including the Old Campus Building (Yellow Building) and the IT Building, as potential hostel facilities. These spaces were identified as viable options to provide immediate relief to the accommodation crisis.

In addition to our short-term measures, we are actively working to accelerate the implementation of the “Master Plan.” The first phase of this long-term initiative prioritizes the construction of new hostel facilities along with the establishment of a dedicated Dean’s Office.

Our efforts remain steadfast in ensuring that students have access to adequate housing and improved campus infrastructure, and we will continue to engage with the administration to achieve these goals efficiently.
