गण्डकी विश्वविद्यालयको न्यासिक परिषद्को ३५औं बैठक २०८३ साल श्रावण २३ गते विश्वविद्यालयको केन्द्रीय कार्यालय, मुस्ताङचोक, पोखरामा सम्पन्न भएको छ । बैठकले गत बैठकका निर्णयहरूको पुनरावलोकन, आर्थिक वर्ष २०८३/८४ को बजेट स्वीकृत, अध्यक्षको राजीनामा स्वीकृत, सेवा शुल्क परिमार्जन लगायत विविध विषयमा महत्त्वपूर्ण निर्णय गरेको छ ।यस बैठकले विश्वविद्यालयको सुशासन, पारदर्शिता र शैक्षिक व्यवस्थापनलाई थप प्रभावकारी बनाउने विश्वास लिइएको छ ।

गण्डकी विश्वविद्यालयद्वारा आयोजित शिक्षक तथा कर्मचारी प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम, २०८३ मिति २०८३।०४।१७ गते पोखरास्थित MIT–AI भवन, महेन्द्रपुल मा सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भएको छ।
यस प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमले विश्वविद्यालयको शैक्षिक गुणस्तर अभिवृद्धि, प्रशासनिक दक्षता सुदृढीकरण तथा व्यावसायिक क्षमता विकास मा महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पुर्‍याएको विश्वास गरिएको छ।
कार्यक्रममा उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागी हुनुहुने सम्पूर्ण पदाधिकारी शिक्षक, कर्मचारीहरूप्रति गण्डकी विश्वविद्यालयका कुलपति इन्द्र प्रसाद तिवारीज्यूले हार्दिक आभार तथा धन्यवाद व्यक्त गर्नुभएको थियो।

नयाँ शैक्षिक सत्र २०८३/०८४ का लागि प्रवेश परीक्षा सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न
मिति २०८३/०४/१६ गते, शनिबार, गण्डकी विश्वविद्यालयको ज्ञानकुञ्ज परिसरमा BIT, BSM, BALLB तथा BBA कार्यक्रमहरूको नयाँ शैक्षिक सत्र २०८३/०८४ का लागि प्रवेश परीक्षा मर्यादित, व्यवस्थित तथा उल्लासपूर्ण वातावरणमा सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भयो।
उक्त प्रवेश परीक्षाको कुलपति, उपकुलपति, रजिस्ट्रार, डीन, पूर्व उपकुलपति तथा पूर्व डीनबाट स्थलगत अनुगमन गरिएको थियो। साथै, गण्डकी विश्वविद्यालयका सम्पूर्ण शिक्षक तथा कर्मचारीहरूको सक्रिय सहभागिता, समन्वय र समर्पणका कारण परीक्षा निष्पक्ष, व्यवस्थित र सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भएको छ।

Gandaki University signed a MoU with Noida International University, India
Gandaki University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Noida International University (NIU), India, to strengthen academic and educational collaboration and foster mutual understanding between the two institutions.
The MoU aims to promote a wide range of collaborative activities, including student exchange programs at various academic levels, faculty exchange, the sharing of online and e-learning resources, joint research initiatives, academic projects, and other areas of mutual interest. The MoU was signed by Dr. Krishna Raj Adhikari, Vice-Chancellor of Gandaki University, and Prof. Dr. Uma Bhardwaj, Vice-Chancellor of Noida International University.
We look forward to a strong partnership that will enhance academic excellence, foster innovation, and create valuable opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers at both institutions.

An Exchange of Ideas and Perspectives

Gandaki University had a meaningful introductory interaction with a distinguished delegation from PLGSP, Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, UNDP, and Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC), focusing on mutual understanding and exchange of perspectives on higher education, governance, research, institutional development, capacity building, and sustainable development.

The delegation comprised Mr. Anuj Ghimire, National Program Manager, PLGSP; Mr. Sudip Aryal, Head of Field Office (Gandaki & Lumbini Provinces), UNDP; Ms. Sewa Shrestha, Portfolio Analyst, UNDP; Mr. Bikash Rajan Das, Federalism Specialist, UNDP/PLGSP; Mr. Namit Wagle, Senior Advisor, SDC; and Mr. Collin, SDC Official.

Representing Gandaki University were Prof. Dr. Indra Prasad Tiwari, Chancellor; Dr. Krishna Raj Adhikari, Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Dhakaram Bhandari, Registrar; Prof. Hima Raj Giri, Dean, Faculty of Law and Management; Saroj Giri, Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology; and Dr. Madhu Sudhan Subedi, Assistant Professor, Sports Management.

The interaction provided an excellent opportunity to connect, share perspectives, and explore possibilities for future engagement and collaboration.

Gandaki University signs MoU with Play Nepal

Gandaki University is pleased to announce a partnership with Play Nepal, the nation's largest curriculum-based school sports organisation, to create direct employment opportunities for students of our Bachelor in Sports Management, the first programme of its kind in Nepal.

Under this agreement, eligible students and graduates will be recruited as professional trainers with Play Nepal, which delivers structured sports education to more than 18,000 students across 60+ schools in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Kavre. The partnership reflects the University's commitment to connecting academic learning with meaningful professional pathways.

The Memorandum was signed by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Krishna Raj Adhikari, in the presence of Registrar Dr. Dhaka Ram Bhandari, Prof. Hima Raj Giri, Dean of Law and Management, and Dr. Madhusudan Subedi, Assistant Professor of Sports Management. Play Nepal was represented by Executive Director & Co-founder Mr. Prakash Basnet and Partnership Head Ms. Karuna Tamang.
