Shaping Nepal’s Voice on the Global Stage:

A Successful Academic Dialogue for UNGA 81.
As the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 81) brings global leaders together in New York, ensuring a strong, well-grounded national agenda has never been more critical. Our Students of SARC had a Mock UN assembly Session with the experts and resource person invited.

In a powerful step toward evidence-based diplomacy, we are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our Academic Dialogue on Critical Issues and Strategic Positions, co-hosted in fruitful collaboration with NeedsNepal.

This high-level intellectual exchange between the students of SARC & experts brought together esteemed academics, policy experts, youth leaders to deliberate on pressing national and international challenges. And formulated robust, forward-looking strategic positions to be powerfully articulated by the Prime Minister of Nepal at the UNGA 81 platform.

Key Highlights of the Dialogue:
1. Climate Justice & Mountain Advocacy: Elevating the devastating impacts of climate change on the Himalayas and demanding equitable global climate financing.
2. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Reviewing acceleration pathways, economic resilience, and inclusive growth frameworks for post-transition Nepal.
3. Multilateral Diplomacy & Regional Security: Asserting Nepal's steadfast commitment to peacebuilding, sovereign equality, and active non-alignment.
4. Youth, Tech, and Innovation: Bridging policy gaps through digital transformation and harnessing the demographic dividend of our youth.
