World Environment Day 2025 🌱
Manakamana College proudly marked World Environment Day with a meaningful rally and plantation program, beautifully led by the Department of Social Work. Students and teachers came together with great energy to raise awareness and plant the seeds of a greener future.

Manakamana College students actively participated in the stage drama 🎭"Muna Madan"
organized by Ksh*tij Natak Samuha in Birtamod, Jhapa.
The drama beautifully portrayed the emotional journey and sacrifices of the characters, helping students experience the richness of Nepali literature .
Experiences like this not only educate but also inspire deeper appreciation for our history and values through creative expression. 💗

The Department of Social Work, Manakamana College proudly took part in the Autism Awareness Rally organized by SNJD and the Autism Care Society Jhapa in Birtamode.

Department Head Prabhat Shiwakoti and faculty members Raju Kadariya and Sangita Sharma joined our students in raising awareness and advocating for an inclusive society.

We extend our gratitude to LWF Nepal and the Australian Embassy, Nepal for their support in making this event a success. Let’s continue to stand together for acceptance and understanding. 💙

On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day, the Department of Social Work organized a cycling event from Manakamana College to Gherabari, covering a total of 67 km. With 15 participants and the guidance of faculty member Mr. Raju Kadariya, the journey was both challenging and rewarding. Hope everyone rests well after this incredible ride !

Our students had an incredible experience exploring Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve! From spotting rare wildlife to capturing stories through field reporting and photography, this trip was a perfect blend of adventure and learning.

A huge thank you to our faculty members for their guidance and to all the students for their enthusiasm and participation. Trips like these make learning more meaningful, bringing classroom knowledge to life in the real world !

The Department of Social Work, Manakamana College is proud to have organized an impactful awareness program in collaboration with other faculty students to mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The event featured a compelling musical drama performance highlighting the consequences of drug abuse.

We were honored to have Sub Inspector Mr. Kumar Somesh Lamichane and Mr. Durga Khanal from the Narcotics Bureau,Jhapa who enlightened us on the harmful effects of drug abuse and its legal implications.

The program was graced by the presence of our esteemed Principal, Mr. Prem Pd. Bhattrai, Academic Coordinator, Mr. Kumar Thapaliya, and other dedicated faculty members.

Together, let's raise awareness and stand against drug abuse! 💪
