The human digestive system consists of the gastrointestinal tract plus the accessory organs of digestion. Digestion involves the breakdown of food into smaller and smaller components, until they can be absorbed and assimilated into the body.

The digestive system breaks down food into simple nutrients such as carbohydrates, fats and proteins. These can then be absorbed into your blood, so your body can use them for energy, growth and repair. Anything that isn't used is waste, and leaves the body as faeces (poo).
ES buddies had a curriculum craft session accompanied by watching short video on digestive system which gave them an opportunity to observe and understand about how does it look, the parts , & the whole process.

A huge thank you to each one of you for guiding and encouraging our little ones to perform Nag Puja on this sacred day of Nag Panchami.

We are truly overwhelmed with joy and emotion watching the videos of our children offering prayers with such sincerity and devotion. These small acts sow the seeds of faith, gratitude, and cultural pride in young hearts.

Such meaningful involvement: 🌿 Connects children to our spiritual and cultural heritage. It nurtures values of respect, protection of life, and belief in divine forces. It also enhances their emotional and moral development through hands-on rituals.

Nag Panchami Celebration at Eurokids 🐍📿

On the auspicious occasion of Nāg Panchami, we offered our prayers to Nāga Devta, who is believed to protect us from evil and bless us with good health and prosperity. As per Hindu traditions, snakes hold divine significance and are associated with Lord Shiva, Vishnu, Devi, and Subramanya.

To mark this special day, our little ones engaged in a fun craft activity, creating snake figures with their own hands. 🐍✨

This activity not only connected them to our rich cultural and spiritual roots but also supported their fine motor skills, creativity, and focus.

🙏 May Nāga Devta bless all with wisdom and protection.

🐍✨ Nāg Panchami Celebration at Eurokids ✨🐍

Nāg Panchami is a sacred festival dedicated to the worship of Nāgas (snakes), believed to be divine and powerful beings associated with Lord Shiva, Vishnu, Devi, and Subramanya. The day holds deep spiritual significance as it is believed that praying to Nāga Devta brings protection from evil, prosperity, and spiritual blessings.

To celebrate this meaningful occasion, our little ones joyfully participated in: 🎨 Colouring Nāga pictures – enhancing their pencil grip, hand-eye coordination, and focus.
This hands-on celebration beautifully blended cultural learning with developmental growth, helping children connect with tradition in a joyful and age-appropriate way.

The Story Behind Naag Panchami 🐍
The Farmer and the Serpent

Naag Panchami is celebrated on the Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Shravan. Many traditional stories are associated with this festival. Here is one popular story:

Once, a farmer lived in a village with his wife, two sons and a daughter. One day, while ploughing his field, he unknowingly caused the death of three young serpents.

The mother serpent was heartbroken and, in anger, sought revenge. That night, she took the lives of the farmer, his wife and his two sons.

The next morning, when the serpent came towards the farmer’s daughter, the girl humbly offered her milk and folded her hands, asking for forgiveness. Touched by her kindness and devotion, the serpent forgave her and brought her family back to life.

It is believed that this happened on Naag Panchami. Since then, people have worshipped Naag Devta on this sacred day, seeking protection, peace and blessings.

Naag Panchami reminds us of compassion, forgiveness and respect for all living beings.
