✈️ Update on the NSW International Student Arrivals Pilot Plan.
The NSW Government has announced it will not require international students to quarantine if they are fully vaccinated with a TGA-recognised vaccine. This aligns with quarantine requirements for returning Australians.
At this stage, only international students who are approved by the Australian Government to travel to Australia, including through the Pilot Plan, can return to NSW. For details, visit https://covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/travel-restrictions
We understand there are many international students waiting to return to NSW. We are working with stakeholders across government and industry to scale our return plan and will continue to provide updates on social media and through our mailing list.
The first chartered plane of returning international students under the NSW International Student Arrivals Pilot Plan is scheduled to touch down in Sydney on Monday 6 December.
This flight will carry around 250 students from over 15 nations, including Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, China and Canada, with a second flight to bring in students from South Asia and India in late December.
